Description

The present invention relates to a gas hob with a well plate through which projects at least one gas burner, which well plate is surrounded by a raised side wall and having at least one air opening.

From EP 0 554 511 a gas burner is known, in which a burner stand penetrates a gas well from below. The area of the burner stand projecting beyond the gas well surrounds a plug-in attachment. In the plug attachment additional outlet openings may be provided, from which secondary air from the trough space below the burner for flame cooling can be sucked.

The object of the present invention is to provide a gas hob in which a convection air from below the well plate for cooling of components, in particular the raised side wall in the gas hob and / or secondary air is used.

The object of the invention is achieved by the gas hob with the features of claim 1. According to the characterizing part of claim 1, the gas hob on an air guide plate, which is arranged on the well plate. Between the air guide plate and the well plate, a gap is formed, which is in communication with the air opening. The intermediate space serves as an air duct. Advantageously, in the air duct convection air from below the well plate, if necessary, to a flame region of the gas burner, to the raised side wall and / or to other heat-sensitive components of the gas hob are performed. The convection air flow can be generated both by forced convection by means of a blower and by thermal convection.

According to a preferred embodiment, the end face of the air guide plate is spaced over an air gap of a side wall of the gas hob. As a result, part of the convection air is guided upwards through the air gap along the side wall. The flow of convection air along the side wall serves to cool it.

This is of particular importance in a gas hob with deep arranged gas burners. Here, the pot carrier are almost at a height level with the adjoining work surface of the worktop, while the side wall of the gas hob is pulled up to an upper surface of the worktop. In such an arrangement, on the one hand the risk of overheating of the side wall due to a reduced heat dissipation in the environment outside the gas hob. On the other hand, there is the danger that the flame area of the gas burner is supplied insufficiently with secondary air.

In order to improve the air convection flow to heat-sensitive components, to the side wall and / or to the flame region of the gas burner, in a preferred embodiment, the distance between the air guide plate and the well plate in about 3 to 10 mm and preferably about 5 mm. The distance between the end face of the air guide plate and the raised side wall is between 10 and 30 mm, and preferably about 20 mm, so that the air convection flow along the side wall is sufficient.

The air guide plate is advantageously formed by segments which are in contact with each other. This ensures easy handling of the air guide plate during their cleaning.

It is preferred if below the air gap between the end face of the air guide plate and the side wall, a groove-like depression is formed. In the depression, the impurities dripping through the air gap onto the well plate during a cooking operation accumulate. This prevents that the impurities drip on the pressure equalization line arranged below the gas hob kitchen furniture.

It is advantageous if the end face of the air guide plate spaced from an air gap of a side wall of the gas hob. A portion of the air convection flow may thus flow upwardly from the gap through the air gap along the side wall. As a result, the side wall is cooled in a simple manner by the air convection flow. This is particularly important in a gas hob, in which the gas burners are arranged deep. Here are the Pot support almost at a height level with the adjoining work surface of the worktop, while the side wall of the gas hob is pulled up to an upper side of the worktop. In such an arrangement, on the one hand the risk of overheating of the side wall due to a reduced heat dissipation in the environment outside the gas hob. On the other hand, there is the danger that only the flame region of the gas burner is supplied insufficiently with secondary air.

Nachfolgend ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung erläutert.Hereinafter, an embodiment of the invention will be explained.

A gas hob is embedded in a worktop and has five dual-circuit gas burners. The gas burners are assigned in a top panel five actuation toggle, which serve the gas supply and the ignition of the gas burner. The gas burners protrude through mounting holes in a trough-shaped trough plate, which is made of a stainless steel sheet. The trough plate is formed with raised side walls, the upper edge strips lie on the worktop. In the upper edge strips the control panel is formed, in which the actuating knob are arranged.

For parking Gargutbehältnissen pot carrier are arranged above the gas burner. For optical reasons and for technical reasons, the working surface of the worktop is arranged with the pot carriers almost at a height level. This has the consequence that the burner heads of the gas burners lowered within a free space of trough-shaped trough plate are arranged, which is arranged between the trough plate and the pot carriers.

At the bottom of the well plate, a bottom pan of the gas hob is held, for example by means of an adhesive bond. The bottom pan defines together with the well plate a trough interior, in which an ignition device, not shown, and gas lines with associated gas nozzles and gas mixture lines of the gas burners are arranged. In this case, gas is ejected in a known manner from the gas nozzles into the gas-air mixture supply lines. By means of an injection effect, so-called primary air is guided together with the ejected gas into the mixed gas-air lines.

In order to ensure a sufficient supply of primary air to the gas-air mixture lines of the gas burners, primary air openings are provided in the floor pan. The primary air openings connect a space outside the floor pan with the trough interior. As a result, an air convection flow I from the space in the trough interior and thus secured in an air intake of the gas nozzles. In the room outside the gas hob a kitchen piece of furniture, such as a base cabinet is provided.

In the trough plate air openings are provided as pressure equalization line. The provided between the side wall and the bottom pan air opening opens on the one hand directly into the space outside the gas hob and in the free space. In addition, there is an air opening, which opens into a connecting channel. The connecting channel is guided through the trough interior and substantially airtight separated from the trough interior. A hermetically airtight separation between the connecting channel and the trough interior is not required. Rather, the purpose of the separation is to ensure that pressure surges are largely transmitted via the connecting channel into the free space provided above the trough plate, and not into the trough interior.

Above the air openings, an air guide plate is arranged, which is spaced over a gap from the well plate. The air guide plate has individual segments which are in contact with each other. By dividing into segments, the handling of the air guide plate during cleaning is simplified and, for example, reduces their space requirement in a dishwasher. Each segment of the air guide plate is provided with a passage opening through which the burner head of one of the gas burners protrudes. At the burner head an outwardly truncated cone-shaped apron is held. The skirt covers air inlet openings through which air is guided into an inner chamber of the dual-circuit burner and thus into a flame region of an inner burner. The apron lies on an edge region of the passage opening. The edge region of the lead-through opening is bent upward, so that on the air guide plate dripping food can not penetrate through the passage opening in the intermediate space.

An upwardly bent end face of the air guide plate is spaced from the raised side wall by an air gap. The distance between the end face of the air guide plate and the raised side wall is in the illustrated embodiment at about 20 mm. Below the air gap, the well plate has a groove-like depression which is formed between the side wall and the air opening. From the Gargutbehältnissen escaping cooking material, such as milk, fat splashes or overcooking water thus passes through the air gap into the well and is collected there. This prevents the food from dripping through the air holes on the base cupboard.

During operation of the dual-circuit burner, the gas hob heats up. As a result, air rises due to heat convection from the lower room to the gas hob. From the ascending air flows a first part I via the primary air openings in the trough interior. A major portion of the rising convection air passes through the air openings and through the connecting channels in the intermediate space. A second part II of the convection air is led into the inner chamber of the dual-circuit burner via the intermediate space.

There it ensures as a so-called secondary air sufficient flame formation at the inner burner. The remaining convection air passes through the air gap from the gap and flows along the raised side wall as a cooling air flow III upwards, whereby overheating of the side wall and thus the actuators is avoided.

When opening / closing of the arranged under the gas hob base cabinet pressure surges are generated. The pressure surges are transmitted through the air openings or the connecting channels to the top of the trough plate and fizzle in the free space above the trough plate. According to the invention, the pressure surges are not or only partially passed through the primary air openings in the trough interior. The primary air supply in the gas mixture air lines of the gas burner is therefore not affected. In order to further minimize the effects of pressure surges on the trough interior, the flow cross section of the primary air openings is designed to be many times smaller than the flow cross section of the air openings. As a result, according to the invention, it is no longer necessary to make the floor pan airtight in relation to the room for protection against pressure surges or to arrange an additional intermediate floor between the base cupboard and the gas hob.
