Abstract

In einem Funk-Gefahrenmeldesystem mit einer Zentrale (Z) und einer Mehrzahl von bidirektionalen (BT1 bis BT5) und unidirektionalen (UT1, UT2) Teilnehmern, versuchen die unidirektionalen Teilnehmer (UT1, UT2) Meldungen über einen der bidirektionalen Teilnehmer (BT1 bis BT5) an die Zentrale (Z) zu übermitteln. Dabei wird die von einem unidirektionalen Teilnehmer (UT2) gesendete Meldung von allen bidirektionalen Teilnehmern (BT1, BT2, BT5) in seiner Funkreichweite empfangen. Jeder bidirektionale Teilnehmer, der diese Nachricht empfangen hat, wartet bis zu einem ihm individuell zugeteilten Zeitschlitz, um die Nachricht weiterzuleiten. Während der Wartezeit überwacht jeder dieser bidirektionalen Teilnehmer (BT1, BT2, BT5) den Funkkanal, ob ein anderer bereits die Nachricht weitergegeben hat. Wenn dies der Fall ist, unterdrückt er seine eigene Weiterleitung.
Auf diese Weise wird sichergestellt, dass nur einer der bidirektionalen Teilnehmer (BT1) die Nachricht weiterleitet, so dass keine Überlastung des Funksystems eintritt.
