- A slide switch, in particular for an electric small appliance, with a switch slide (1) slidably mounted in a housing and a locking switch (4) that is arranged in the switch slide (1) and is adapted to be locked with the housing or with a member connected with the housing in at least one switching position of the switch slide (1), characterized in that the locking switch (4) is comprised of at least one resiliently biased pushbutton (5, 6) pivotal about a pivot axle (12), said pivot axle (12) being arranged in a fixed relationship to the switch slide (1).
- The slide switch as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that at least one latch (18) is arranged in the end region of the pushbutton (5, 6) facing away from the pivot axle (12).
- The slide switch as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the pivot axle (12) of the pushbutton (5, 6) extends parallel to the displacement path of the switch slide (1).
- The slide switch as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that provision is made for two adjoining, pivotal pushbuttons (5, 6) whose pivot axles (12) lie in the regions of the pushbuttons (5, 6) facing away from each other.
- The slide switch as claimed in claim 4, characterized in that the adjoining sides of the pushbuttons (5, 6) have interfitting engagement with each other.
- The slide switch as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the resilient bias of the pushbutton (5, 6) is in the direction of a locked position.
