Abstract

The device has product rolls rolled on hollow core and associate edges received by the rolls and core. The present invention relates to the packaging and use of consumer products presented in the form of continuous bands wound on hollow cores.

Preliminary remark:

Throughout this document, the term product will refer to any type of large product diffusion presented in the form of strips or continuous sheets wound on souls hollow. Whether the toilet paper or household paper supports are elementary or elaborate, experience shows that they rarely achieve the expected objectives. The simplest of them, limited to the role of passive elements of rests or receptacles, are often rudimentary, unsightly, sometimes bulky or protruding. In addition without requiring a very elaborate gesture, the seizure then the release of the roller from its support requires a certain application and often prove less easy than it appears at first glance. These elementary supports however offer the advantage of the free handling of the roll which is often preferred to any other device because it is the guarantee of an easy, comfortable, judicious and controlled removal of the quantity of paper required.
The most elaborate supports, those which offer assistance in unwinding, blocking and cutting paper display good intentions, great ambitions and demonstrate great ingenuity but in the end they are most often disappointing. Although these devices seem to operate in optimal use situation "in the laboratory", it turns out that, in the smallness of most toilets or in the frequent congestion of kitchens, and depending on the location chosen for these devices , the unwinding often turns out to be hazardous and uncontrolled, the blocking becomes random and the cutting is ultimately uncertain, without evoking the often awkward positions and requiring the contortions that such maneuvers impose. Finally, the more assistance the supports offer, the more tedious the renewal of expired rollers. Thus, after a certain number of laborious renewals, it is not uncommon to notice the weariness gaining the user who at first takes a long time to restock the support in new roll then in a second time is freed from the chore of his restocking and abandons, weary of war, the roll after use, on the first available surface, and failing that, even on the ground.

Certainly the rusticity of this presentation authorizes the multiplicity of types of supports but it must be recognized that this presentation is more an easy and inexpensive packaging choice than a real aid for the removal of product. All existing supports bend to the constraints of a product ultimately offering only basic characteristics. Does this packaging allow the development of truly effective mass media?
Without calling into question the principle of winding a continuous strip on a hollow core, the device presented and developed below proposes to rethink the characteristics of the roller and in particular those of its hollow core in order to facilitate its capture. , installation and storage for the user.

C - Presentation

For products presented in the form of continuous strips wound on hollow cores, the device according to the invention proposes an evolution of the initial packaging allowing to integrate into the roll of product facilities for gripping and storing the rolls by the user. To meet these objectives, the invention defines modifications, called "associated elements", to be brought to the rolls of product. In all cases these said elements associates line the roll of product on at least one of its edges, using either directly on this or these slices or on the hollow core of the product rolls. Note :

As shown in Figure 10, the receiving base can have dimensions and characteristics allowing it to receive several rolls of product simultaneously.

F2 - Mechanical mode "VELCRO type registered trademark or equivalent".
