Definitions
- the invention relates to a package according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Packaging for goods - especially food - which are to be heated in the packaging are known.
- the proliferation of microwave ovens has meant that virtually anyone can prepare hot snacks or regular hot meals or popcorn or the like directly in the package without having to use cookware or other containers (and clean them later) ,
- Such a packaging construction is in the EP 0 661 219 B1 described.
- a multi-part structure which includes a cut film and a layer associated therewith of a pressure-sensitive adhesive
- this structure on the one hand the construction of a certain overpressure (which causes a shortening of the cooking time) and on the other hand, a controlled escape of an excessively large overpressure allows.
- the complex multi-layered structure has relatively high production costs and also a limitation of the possible applications result.
- the local receptacle for food is suitable for storage and for heating of ready meals, for example in the microwave, where it can be closed with a cover element which is connected via a weld or a peelable seal with the container.
- This weld or seal comprises a main sealing region having at least one Soll mallklaabêt, which comprises a triangular cut, which is limited starting from the main sealing area to form a packaging interior facing the tip of two pointed sealing seams.
- This inwardly directed Soll mallklaabites peels at overpressure in the container, whereby the container is opened like a valve.
- the present invention seeks to ensure that the Soll joslrittabêt opens controlled at the inwardly directed tip.
- This package can either be designed as a tubular bag or comprise a shell with sealing film, which is sealed along the edge of the shell with this. This marginal seal then defines the aforementioned main crucible region from which the target passage section extends into the packaging interior.
- the triangular cutout of the Soll joslhouabitess is preferably still with a throttle serving as a channel with the environment in connection. This channel ensures a controlled pressure reduction within the packaging.
- the duct serving as a throttle may widen toward the outer packaging edge.
- the construction according to the invention is also suitable for stand-up pouches whose, for example, only upper closure seam or top seal seam is designed according to the invention.
- the inwardly facing tip of the Soll joslhouabitess may be rounded with a small radius of curvature. It is essential for the controlled opening of the package to the outside, the seal width of the inwardly directed tip in the longitudinal direction.
- Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation of a tubular bag 1, in which, for example, in the microwave heated food with non-liquid consistency (legumes, popcorn ...) is packed.
- the tubular bag 1 is formed by annular folding and longitudinal sealing of a usually used for this purpose packaging film with a longitudinal sealing seam 3 and two opposite, substantially mutually parallel transverse sealing seams 5.
- the formation of the transverse sealing seams 5 takes place with so-called PEEL films with reduced sealing seam strength.
- PEEL films are also known per se and therefore do not require a more detailed description here.
- the transverse sealing seams 5, which define so-called main sealing regions, have a congruent shape with each other, wherein in each case two sealing seam tips extend in the direction of the interior of the tubular bag 1 from a substantially rectilinear sealing seam course.
- the sealing area (the sealing seam) has a substantially smaller width than in its rectilinear sections (in the example about 30% of the width there).
- the two forming the top sealing seams 7 form an angle of approximately 50 ° with each other, but the invention is also executable with other angles.
- the tip could alternatively also be formed by the convergence of two curved sealing seams and even slightly rounded (with a very small diameter). It does not have to protrude from an otherwise rectilinear seal, but the rest of the seal can also be bent or otherwise uneven.
- a sealing seam gap 9 is formed in alignment with the longitudinal direction of the formed by the sealing seams 7 each tip, which acts as a - sealed in the delivery state of the tubular bag 1 by the mentioned tip - channel between the bag interior and the atmosphere. If, as a result of the heating of the contents in the tubular bag 1, a pressure exceeding a certain size is built up, then at the outermost sealing seam tip this pressure will first lead to a separation of the sealed film surfaces from one another, ie tearing of the transverse sealing seam. The pressurized gas in the interior of the tubular bag then enters into the triangular cut-out 11 and out of this through the channel 9 targeted into the atmosphere, whereby uncontrolled bursting ("crowning") of the tubular bag is prevented.
- Fig. 2 shows a sealing tool 13 for the production of the tubular bag after Fig. 1 ,
- This has a substantially cuboid base body 15, in which near the ends of two body gaps 21 are provided, which are each bridged by a tool tip 19.
- the tool tips 19 ensure the mechanical integrity of the sealing tool as a whole and serve, on the other hand, as a shaping device for the tips defined by the sealing seams 7, which adjoin the transverse sealing seams 5 of the tubular bag 1 inwardly ( Fig. 1 ).
- the sealing tool 13 is pressed in a conventional manner to the folded layers of the bag film and connects them along its active surface 17 with each other. Since the tops of the tool tips 19 are in a plane with the active surface 17 of the body 15, they act in full as part of the effective area and produce the sealing seam peaks with their punched, and the presence of the body gaps 21 leads to the formation of the channels 9 in the transverse sealing seams 5 of the tubular bag. 1
- the first embodiment comprises a plastic bottom tray 22 made, for example, by deep-drawing a plastic film.
- This shell has a peripheral sealing edge 23, onto which a sealing film for sealing the packaging interior 24 can be sealed.
- the sealing edge 23 has two spaced-apart, the packaging interior 24 each facing and limited by sealing seams 7 peaks, each of which is arranged upstream of a serving as a throttle for the contents of the package channel 9.
- the channel 9 is obtained in each case by punching the sealing edge 23. This punching can be obtained before, after or during sealing of the sealing film.
- the sealing film preferably extends over the entire sealing edge 23, which here defines the so-called main sealing region, namely up to the outer edges thereof.
- the corresponding sealing tool can be formed in this embodiment very easily and in a conventional manner, for example as a rectangular frame with a flat sealing surface. In particular, it is not necessary to form the sealing tool with tips according to the embodiment according to Fig. 2 ,
- the sealing edge 23 defining the main sealing area and its inwardly projecting points are predetermined by corresponding deformation of the side walls of the base shell 22.
- the tips preferably a channel corresponding to the channel 9 according to Fig. 1 be upstream.
- This channel can be in Fig. 4 can also be obtained by appropriate deformation of the front side walls of the bottom shell 2.
- the inwardly projecting tips are also bounded by tapered sealing seams 7, which are here an integral part of the sealing edge 23.
- Fig. 5 shows a transverse or main seam 5 with adjoining sealing seams 7.
- a limited by the tapered sealing seams 7 triangular punching is connected directly to the main seam 5, so that this is not weakened.
- the defined by the punching 9 opening of the package can be closed to the outside again, if desired.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a package according to the preamble of
Packaging for goods - especially food - which are to be heated in the packaging, are known. In particular, the proliferation of microwave ovens has meant that virtually anyone can prepare hot snacks or regular hot meals or popcorn or the like directly in the package without having to use cookware or other containers (and clean them later) ,
Also known is the problem that such packaging tend to burst due to the heating and associated expansion of the content - the so-called "crowning" - which is not only annoying, but u. U. also dangerous. For certain applications and to a certain extent, this problem can be addressed by oversizing the packaging. Of course, this oversizing has considerable disadvantages, u. a. an additional consumption of packaging material and transport and storage space. It is therefore already been searched for special packaging constructions with which one can counteract uncontrolled bombing of the package when heating the contents.
Based on this prior art, the present invention seeks to ensure that the Solldurchlaßabschnitt opens controlled at the inwardly directed tip.
This object is achieved by the characterizing features of
Characterized in that the lateral boundary of the pointed sealing seams of Solldurchlaßabschnitts inside and outside is angled so that the width of the seal measured in the tip longitudinal direction at the front end of the tip about that in the region of the base measured in the direction of the main sealing region corresponds ensures that the aforementioned tip opens under pressure first. This gives a defined self-opening of the packaging.
This package can either be designed as a tubular bag or comprise a shell with sealing film, which is sealed along the edge of the shell with this. This marginal seal then defines the aforementioned main crucible region from which the target passage section extends into the packaging interior.
The triangular cutout of the Solldurchlaßabschnitts is preferably still with a throttle serving as a channel with the environment in connection. This channel ensures a controlled pressure reduction within the packaging.
In a preferred embodiment, the duct serving as a throttle may widen toward the outer packaging edge.
Of course, it is conceivable to associate more than one Solldurchlaßabschnitt the aforementioned type of each package.
The construction according to the invention is also suitable for stand-up pouches whose, for example, only upper closure seam or top seal seam is designed according to the invention.
It should also be noted that the inwardly facing tip of the Solldurchlaßabschnitts may be rounded with a small radius of curvature. It is essential for the controlled opening of the package to the outside, the seal width of the inwardly directed tip in the longitudinal direction.

The
The two forming the
In the rectilinear course of the transverse sealing seams 5 a
