- transverse binding threads can also be provided in addition to the transverse threads running in the carrier layers are woven and thus the thread density in the Increase seam loops in adjacent areas.
- Such a paper machine clothing is characterized by high stability in the seam area. This is because that the seam loops on the carrier side through the binding threads be closed and a shift of the carrier layers is blocked. That being said, the anchorage of the Nonwoven fabric improved significantly in this area. Both is achieved without otherwise being in the structure of the Carrier is adversely affected, i.e. the advantages this support structure remains intact.

- the wet press felt 1 shown schematically in FIG. 1 is for use in the press section of a paper machine certainly. For reasons of clarity is from the wet press felt 1 only the carrier 2 can be seen. The the carrier 2 embedding fiber layers are omitted. The carrier 2 is only partially shown here. He sits down to the left in the form of a lying U - dashed here hinted - continued, so that the carrier 2 a total lying U represents. The extension of the U is the respective one Installation conditions adapted in the paper machine.
- the carrier 2 consists of an inner carrier layer 3 and an outside carrier layer 4. Both carrier layers 3, 4 are designed as a fabric that is in a continuous Weaving process are made by circular weaving.
- the Fabrics have transverse threads - designated 5 and 6, for example - which have formed the warp threads in the weaving process, and longitudinal threads 7, 8 as weft threads.
- the longitudinal threads 7, 8 are parts due to their property as weft threads of a single continuous thread.
- the transverse threads 5, 6 tie with the longitudinal threads 7, 8 so that the two Carrier layers 3, 4 over the area no connection Threads together, i.e. tie the cross threads 5 not in the carrier layer 4 and the transverse threads 6 not in the carrier layer 3 and the longitudinal threads 7, 8 remain over the entire length of the carrier 2 in the respective Carrier layer 3 or 4.

- Pushing a plug wire 14 through the push-through channel 13 the seam loops 11, 12 and thus the ends 9, 10 of the carrier 2 coupled together, so that an endless carrier 2 and thus an endless Wet press felt 1 is created.
- the coupling happens after the intake of the wet press felt 1 in the press section of the Paper machine.
- the binding cross threads 15, 16, 17, 18 run such that they incorporate alternately in both support layers 3, 4, namely each around a longitudinal thread in the one carrier layer 3 and - offset by two longitudinal threads 7, 8 - by one longitudinal thread 8 in the other carrier layer 4
- Cross binding threads 15, 16, 17, 18 become the seam loops 11, 12 closed on the carrier side.
- Figure 3 shows a variant of the carrier 2 according to the figures 1 and 2, only half of that shown in Figure 2 Cross section is shown.
- binding cross threads 19, 20 are present, which are also mirror images, however, in contrast to the version according to the figure 2 at much greater distances between the carrier layers 3, 4 change. In between they run over the Longitudinal threads 7, 8 and tie them in the manner of a plain weave on. It is understood that this makes the connection of the two support layers 4, 5 is less narrow than in the version according to FIG. 2.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a paper machine clothing a carrier from at least two carrier layers, each of which consist of longitudinal and transverse threads, but with each other over their area basically not by means of threads are connected, being at the front ends of the paper machine clothing seam loops consisting of longitudinal threads protrude, which connect the ends to the Seam is pushed through the seam loops Serve wire.
The state of the art is a type of paper machine clothing for use in a paper machine known in which a carrier fabric is present, which consists of there are two woven carrier layers, the carrier layers however, not connected by threads over their surface are. At the front ends of the paper machine clothing are the carrier layers over their longitudinal threads connected with formation of seam loops. About these Seam loops can be used to couple the ends that the seam loops overlapped both ends and through the seam loops in the overlap area a so-called plug wire is pushed. Such paper machine clothing are for example WO 00/09802 and JP 112 00 275.
One for the production of such paper machine clothing A suitable method is described in US 5,015,220. In this procedure, a single-layer carrier fabric is used woven round, with a circumference that is double is as long as the intended length of the paper machine clothing, and then with a needled nonwoven Mistake. Then the tube-shaped thus obtained Forms compressed so that two lying on top of each other Layers arise. By fraying the front ends are made from those present there Longitudinal threads of seam loops are exposed, which are used to connect the ends can be overlapped.
Due to the special support construction, such offer Paper machine clothing in particular high strength also in the seam area because the seam loops from longitudinal threads extending endlessly over the carrier layers be formed. This support structure also stands out compared to double-layer girders due to low Compressibility with the consequence that the drainage properties over the duration of the paper machine clothing remain largely constant. The disadvantage is however, the unsatisfactory stability in the seam area. In addition, the fleece anchoring is in this area not optimal.
The invention has for its object a paper machine clothing of the type mentioned at the outset, that the seam stability increases and an improved Anchoring of the nonwoven fabric is achievable.
This object is achieved in that the carrier layers are connected to one another via binding transverse threads are, their arrangement on the area of both ends of the Paper machine clothing adjacent to the seam loops is limited. Cross threads can be present that do not increase the thread density of the cross threads, so already present in the carrier layers as cross threads are, however, in contrast to the other transverse threads be performed that they also in adjacent carrier layers integrated. Alternatively or in combination However, transverse binding threads can also be provided in addition to the transverse threads running in the carrier layers are woven and thus the thread density in the Increase seam loops in adjacent areas.
Such a paper machine clothing is characterized by high stability in the seam area.
The type of connection, i.e. the thread guidance of the binding cross threads, can be tailored to the respective requirements Limits are adjusted. Cross binding threads can thus be present be alternating a longitudinal thread in one Carrier layer and one offset by a longitudinal thread Tie in the longitudinal thread in the adjacent carrier layer. This results in a very firm connection of the carrier layers. However, transverse binding threads can also be present be in the carrier layers over several longitudinal threads - be it long float or tie in the longitudinal threads - before moving from one carrier layer to an adjacent one Change carrier layer. Cross thread can also be used be combined with each other, which integrate differently. It is useful that two neighboring Binding cross threads have a mirror image course.
The number of binding cross threads is also one Appropriate to the respective requirements and possible. There should be paper machine clothing at each end there is at least one binding cross thread, preferably two to four binding cross threads. However, it can can also be up to ten binding cross threads, if special high demands on the strength of the seam connection be put.
thermoplastische Polymere in Frage, beispielsweise
Polypropylen, Polyamid 4.6, Polyamid 6, Polyamid 6.6, Polyamid
6.10, Polyamid 6.12, Polyamid 11, Polyamid 12,
Primarily come as the material for the binding cross threads

The number of seam loops is according to the respective Requirements. There is definitely Possibility that all longitudinal threads form seam loops. However, an expedient variant is that at least one longitudinal thread forming a seam loop alternates with at least one longitudinal thread that does not Seam loop forms, and that the seam loops of the ends the paper machine clothing in the transverse direction to each other are offset so that the seam loops are easy can interlock like a comb.

15, 16, 17, 18 ausgebildet.
