- the present invention relates to improvements brought in the field of food in ribbon paper, roll, machines printers and, more specifically, it concerns improvements to power devices in roll paper for printing machine, including a cradle provided with lateral flanges, means for support located at the bottom of the cradle and forming a cradle to support a roll of paper so that said roll of paper rests freely on said support means by its lower periphery and turns freely on said support means when the free end of the paper tape is subjected to a traction, this device further comprising means for braking of said rotating roller which are integral of said cradle and which have at least one support member elastic against at least one side of the paper roll.
- Paper feeders of the kind considered are appreciated by users due to the simple installation of a paper roll: it there is no organ to operate or move, there is no axis to introduce into bearings, the roller paper is simply placed on its support at the bottom of the cradle (which generally has two crazy rollers on which the roller turns freely).
- Document US 2,899,145 describes a device roll paper feed which has braking means of the rotating roller which are arranged to act on the sides of the roller.
- this known device is arranged for paper rolls which are very bulky and therefore very heavy (several tonnes). Therefore, the braking means are arranged accordingly and are complex.
- Such means are not suitable for a device paper feed for printing machine, which device should remain as compact and as simple as possible.
- the object of the invention is to propose means designed to provide reliable operation of the power supply device operated in conjunction with a printing machine to avoid inconvenience presented by current devices, improvements thus brought before, to the fullest extent of possible, prove to be structurally simple and little expensive while being effective.
- the invention provides a device roll paper feed for printer machine as mentioned in the preamble which is characterized, being arranged in accordance with the invention, in that said elastic support member comprises at least one arm elastically deformable secured to the cradle and at least a protruding area which is located at the free end of said arm and which is engaged through an opening practiced in a lateral flange of the cradle and protruding with respect to the inner face of said flange, and in this that said projecting area is in the form of a pellet protruding which includes a substantially support surface flat clean to carry against a side of the roller and peripherally surrounded by an inclined surface suitable for slide on the sides of the roll when it is introduced into the cradle.
- the rolls of paper, rotated by a pull exerted on its free end is permanently braked so that when the tractive effort is interrupted, the roller can no longer continue to turn on the wand of the makes its inertia and stops instantly: we avoid thus the deforestation of the last turns of the paper that we could see in the previous devices.
- the means used for braking the roller are simple and require no adjustment. Furthermore, as it is desirable, the braking force is not excessive so as not to require too much tractive effort important on the part of the training means of the associated printer machine.

- la figure 1 est une vue schématique de côté, en coupe partielle, d'un dispositif d'alimentation en papier en rouleau agencé conformément à l'invention ;
- la figure 2 est une vue en coupe, selon la ligne II-II de la figure 1, du dispositif de la figure 1 ;
- la figure 3 est une vue en coupe, analogue à celle de la figure 2, d'une variante de réalisation du dispositif de la figure 1 ;
- la figure 4 est une vue en perspective d'une partie constituante du dispositif des figures 1 à 3 ; et
- la figure 5 est une vue en coupe transversale d'une variante de réalisation de la partie constituante de la figure 4.
Claims (10)
- Dispositif (1) d'alimentation en papier en rouleau pour machine imprimante (2), comprenant un berceau (3) muni de flasques latéraux (4), des moyens de support (5, 7) situés à la partie inférieure du berceau et formant berceau pour supporter un rouleau de papier (6) de manière que ledit rouleau de papier repose librement sur lesdits moyens de support par sa périphérie inférieure et tourne (8) librement sur lesdits moyens de support lorsque l'extrémité libre du ruban de papier (10) est soumise à une traction (9), ce dispositif comportant en outre des moyens de freinage (13) dudit rouleau (6) en rotation qui sont solidaires dudit berceau (3) et qui présentent au moins un organe d'appui élastique (14) contre au moins un flanc du rouleau (6) de papier, caractérisé en ce que ledit organe d'appui élastique (14) comprend au moins un bras (19) élastiquement déformable solidaire du berceau et au moins une zone saillante (16) qui est située à l'extrémité libre dudit bras (19) et qui est engagée à travers une ouverture (17) pratiquée dans un flasque latéral (4) du berceau (3) et en saillie par rapport à la face intérieure dudit flasque (4), et
en ce que ladite zone saillante (16) est en forme de pastille saillante qui comprend une surface d'appui (18) sensiblement plane propre à porter contre un flanc du rouleau et entourée périphériquement d'une surface inclinée (24, 25) propre à glisser sur les flancs du rouleau lorsque celui-ci est introduit dans le berceau. - Dispositif d'alimentation en papier selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ladite surface inclinée (24) est de forme sensiblement tronconique.
- Dispositif d'alimentation en papier selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la pastille d'appui est faiblement saillante par rapport au flasque (4) du berceau et en ce que ladite surface inclinée (25) est arrondie avec une section transversale sensiblement en quart de cercle.
- Dispositif d'alimentation en papier selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que ladite surface d'appui (18) est de forme ronde.
- Dispositif d'alimentation en papier selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce qu'au moins la face d'appui (18) de la zone saillante (16) est métallique.
- Dispositif d'alimentation en papier selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que l'organe d'appui élastique (14) des moyens de freinage est en appui contre le flanc du rouleau (6) dans la partie inférieure de celui-ci.
- Dispositif d'alimentation en papier selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de freinage (13) comportent un second organe d'appui situé de l'autre côté du rouleau et muni d'une seconde zone saillante (16') sensiblement identique qui est disposée en regard de la susdite première zone saillante (16), pour être en appui contre l'autre flanc du rouleau.
- Dispositif d'alimentation en papier selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que la seconde zone saillante (16') est fixe et solidaire de l'autre flasque (4) du berceau (3).
- Dispositif d'alimentation en papier selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que la seconde zone saillante (16') est située à une extrémité libre d'un second bras (19) élastique solidaire, par son extrémité opposée, dudit autre flasque (4) du berceau (3).
- Dispositif d'alimentation en papier selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 9, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de support du rouleau de papier (6) comprennent deux galets (7) parallèles et écartés l'un de l'autre.
