Fig. 1 zeigt rein schematisch einen Längsschnitt durch ein aus Untermatratze 0 und Obermatratze 20 bestehendes Matratzensystem nach dem Stand der Technik. Die Untermatratze 0 besitzt einen Außenrahmen 1 mit Boden, auf dem eine Vielzahl von Federn 5 steht, die oben durch eine Polsterschicht 2 abgedeckt sind. Die Obermatratze 20 besitzt eine Vielzahl von Federn 21, abgedeckt durch einen Drell 22. Die Eigenschaften der Federn 21 sind auf Gewicht und Form eines Schläfers 30 derart abgestimmt, dass eine Beckenaufnahme und eine Schulteraufnahme mit erhöhter Nachgiebigkeit entstehen.
