Abstract

The machine (10) to produce a fiber web (12), e.g. for the production of fiberboards, has a recirculating press belt (14) forming a press gap (20) with a counter surface (16) at a drum (18). A number of successive adjustable bending press rollers (22) are deployed in the direction (L) of web travel, to press the belt with the web against the counter surface. The machine components are held and positioned by at least one end wall (26) of a column (24). The column wall has openings (28) for the installation and/or removal of the press rollers and/or supporting guides.
