Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Stopfpickels zur Unterstopfung eines Gleises.The invention relates to a method for producing a stuffing plug for the clogging of a track.

Dieses Verfahren ist mit dem besonderen Vorteil verbunden, daß der Stopfpickel sowohl eine hohe Festigkeit als auch einen optimalen Abriebwiderstand aufweist. Außerdem kann die Plattenhülle in vorteilhafter Weise unter Vermeidung von stoßempfindlichen Massekonzentrationen in gleichmäßiger Dicke gegossen werden. Bei Erneuerung einer nach langem Einsatz unbrauchbar gewordenen Pickelplatte ergibt sich ein weiterer Vorteil dadurch, daß die gesamte Pickelplatte entlang der Schweißnaht vom Pickelschaft abgetrennt werden kann und somit dieser nach Anschweißung einer neuen Pickelplatte wieder verwendbar ist.This method has the particular advantage that the tamping picket has both a high strength and an optimum abrasion resistance.
