Abstract

The invention concerns an advertising board consisting of a support (200), a frame (201), catching means (108), at least two facets (21, 22), said frame (201) consisting of at least two elements forming a slide rail (105, 106) horizontally or vertically fixed on the support or on a rotary means forming a support and said facets (21, 22) comprise each at least a slide (107) and means (108) for removably fixing them on the elements constituting a slide rail (105, 106) and front edges (109) for associating in sliding and removable manner an image portion (100) on each of said facets (21, 22).

Description

Advertising panel consisting of a multitude of removable image portions arranged on facets

The present invention relates to an advertising panel consisting of a multitude of removable image portions arranged on facets.

Said advertising panel comprises a support consisting of an armature on which facets are removably arranged, on which image portions are removably affixed so as to restore an overall planar fixed or moving image or several images rotated around an axis.

Depending on the technique used in the field of advertising display, a global image is generally composed of six image portions, but this number of portions is given by way of example and may vary depending on the particular technique and the dimensions of the image. 'picture.

There are already known billboards which are said to have rotating prisms. Such a panel is for example described and illustrated in document FR-A-2 683 638.

The panel described in this prior document essentially comprises, as illustrated in the figures appended to the description, a plurality of substantially identical prisms each comprising at least two faces, a base, means for mounting the prisms in rotation on the base respectively around axes of rotation substantially located in the same plane and parallel to each other, and means for fixing portions of images on the faces of the prisms.

The operation and use of such a panel with rotating prisms are known and will not be specifically described here.

The advertising panel with rotating prisms according to this document has, as it is said in said document, many advantages, but it also has disadvantages in the field of its use, in particular with regard to the installation and removal of the portions of images on the faces of the prisms.

Indeed, the shape and structure of the prisms constituting this panel undoubtedly make it difficult to install the portions of images, as well as their removal to allow for example the cleaning of the faces of the prisms or the replacement of the portions of images.

The present invention therefore aims to achieve an advertising panel consisting of a multitude of removable image portions, arranged on facets, which largely overcomes the disadvantages mentioned above of panels of this type according to the prior art .

More specifically, the subject of the present invention is an advertising panel according to a first embodiment, comprising a support consisting of an armature on which facets are removably disposed on which the image portions are affixed so as to restore a fixed or moving planar overall image or several images mounted in rotation about an axis, characterized in that said panel consists of:

- a support, - a frame,

- attachment means,

- At least two facets, said frame being provided with at least two rail elements fixed horizontally or vertically on the support. According to this embodiment, said facets are provided with at least one dorsal slide and means for fixing them in cooperation and in a removable manner on said rail-forming elements and with frontal lateral lips for associating by sliding and without gluing, in a removable manner , an image portion on each of said facets. According to another preferred embodiment, said advertising panel comprises:

a plurality of prisms, each prism comprising at least two faces,

a base, means for mounting the prisms in rotation on the base, respectively around axes of rotation substantially parallel to each other and situated in the same plane, and means for fixing portions of images on the faces of the prisms, characterized in that at least one of the prisms comprising at least two faces is constituted by:

- a frame, - two facets, and

- Means for detachably hanging said facets on said frame, said facets being hung on said frame by forming the two faces of said prism.

According to this preferred embodiment, said means for fixing an image portion on one face of the prism consist of fixing elements mounted in cooperation with the facet forming said face of the prism or by frontal lateral lips making it possible to associate by sliding, in a removable manner and without bonding, an image portion on each of said facets.

According to another embodiment, the facets are mounted in cooperation with the support using a set of suction-cup elements arranged on the external surface of the facets.

According to a last embodiment, the facets are mounted in cooperation with the support using an adhesive.

Other characteristics and advantages of the present invention will appear during the following description given with reference to the drawings annexed by way of illustration, but in no way limiting, in which:

According to the definition of the invention, it is understood that if the latter comprises “at least one” element having a given function, the embodiment described may comprise several of these elements.

In addition, if the embodiment of the object according to the invention as illustrated comprises several elements of identical function and if, in the description, it is not specified that the object according to this invention must necessarily include a particular number of these elements, the subject of the invention could be defined as comprising “at least one” of these elements.

In one embodiment as shown in Figures 1 and 2, the advertising panel is constituted by: - a support, (200)

- At least two facets (21,22), said frame (201) is composed of at least two rail elements (105,106) fixed horizontally or vertically on the support, said facets (21, 22) each have at least a dorsal slide (107) and means (108) for fixing them in cooperation and in a removable manner on rail-forming elements (105, 106) and front lips (109), for associating by sliding and in a removable manner, a portion of image (100) on each of said facets (21, 22), said front lips (109) being partly open (111) at one of their ends to allow the insertion of the image portion (100) by sliding .

According to another embodiment of the invention shown in FIG. 3, the advertising panel comprises a plurality of 2,3,4 prisms, each provided with at least two faces 5,6, of a base 7, of means 8 for mounting the prisms 2-4 in rotation on a base, respectively around axes of rotation 12,13,14 substantially parallel to each other and located in the same plane 15, and means 19 for fixing portions of images 100 on the faces 5-6 of the prisms, these portions of images being produced so that, when they are placed one beside the other in the same plane, they form images constituting, for example, an advertising poster or a public information message.

According to a possible embodiment, the means 8 mentioned above are for example constituted by at least one controlled motor, for example of the stepping type, the output shaft of which is connected to the axes of rotation 12,13,14 , rotating prisms by a system of transmission shafts or the like, and gears. These latter means are known in themselves and those skilled in the art will readily find many embodiments of them in the prior art. They are therefore not described more fully here.

It is obvious that prisms 2-4 have at least two faces. The prisms illustrated in solid lines in FIG. 3 have three of them, these illustrated in dashed lines have four, but may have any other prismatic shape. It is however obvious that the embodiment with rotating prisms with equilateral triangular section is the solution which makes it possible to produce the best overall images because the space which separates the faces of prisms is the most reduced.

According to an important characteristic of the present invention, at least one of the prisms 2-4 comprising at least two faces 5-6, and preferably all the prisms making up the advertising panel 1, consists of a frame 20 , two facets 21, 22, for example in the form of rectangular plates, and means 23 for removably hanging these facets 21-22 on frame 20. The frame 20 can be produced in any case, either as a block or by assembly of tubes, beams, rods, etc. As the production of such a frame in itself does not pose a difficulty to a person skilled in the art, it will not be described more fully here.

As for the facets, they are hung on the frame 20 so as to form the two faces 5,6 of the prism.

In the advantageous embodiment of the illustrated advertising panel, the prisms are of triangular section. They therefore have three removable facets, as illustrated in FIG. 4. In an advantageous embodiment, the means 23 for removably hanging the facets 21, 22 on the frame 20 are constituted by clipping means 30 mounted in cooperation with the frame and the facets. These clipping means 30 are for example constituted by elastic interlocking means of the male-female type 31, 32. In the example illustrated, the male part 31 of the socket is secured to the frame 20 and the female part 32 is secured to the facets 21, 22.

According to another particularly advantageous characteristic of the present invention, the means 19 for fixing an image portion 100 on a face 5,6 of 2,3,4 prism, are constituted by fixing elements 40 which are mounted directly in cooperation with the facet 21, 22 which forms this prism face.

In a preferred embodiment, these fastening elements 40 mounted in cooperation with the facet comprise at least one rod 41 and means 42 for fixing this rod on the facet so as to form, on the edge of the facet a groove 43 capable of trapping an edge 101, 102 of the image portion 100.

In one possible embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 5, the means 42 for fixing the strip 41 to the facet comprise at least one clamp 50 able to be positioned by pinching on an edge 51 of the facet, and means for fixing the rod 41 on this clamp constituted for example by a tab or the like 44.

It is obvious that, with each facet, are advantageously associated with at least two pliers 40 and two rods 41 positioned to form two grooves 43 opposite opposite one another to be able to trap two edges two opposite edges of an image portion 100 and maintain it substantially rigidly and substantially flattened on the facet 21, 22. It is obviously the same for all the facets of all the prisms in order to be able to form, in the illustrated embodiment, three posters when the prisms rotate one hundred and twenty degrees at each step.

Due to the structural shape of the rods 41 and the clamps 50 as described above and illustrated in FIG. 5, it is possible to produce them by the profile technique. This technique has the advantage of considerably limiting the cost price of the advertising panel. In another possible and equally advantageous embodiment, the means 42 for fixing the strip 41 on the facet 21, 22 are constituted, as illustrated in FIG. 6, by the fact that the strip and the facet are made in one piece . For the same reasons as those mentioned above, it is possible, in this case, to produce the baguette-facet assembly using the profile technique.

It may be advantageous that such an advertising panel according to the invention can be used both during the day and at night. For this purpose, it is essential to be able to illuminate the facets 21, 22 by transmission using light emitted by a light source located in the volume delimited by the facets. It is then necessary that at least one of the facets 21, 22 is made of a transparent material, as well as, if this is desirable, the rods 41 or the lips 110.

It should also be noted that an advantage of the present invention lies in the fact that the means for fixing a portion of image on a prism face or on a facet may be different from one face to another, so that each poster of an advertising panel corresponding as a whole to a particular face of each element of said panel has its own fixing means, suitable for example for the duration of the presence of the poster on the advertising panel. For example, in the case of a prism with three faces, one face can have conventional fixing means by gluing, and the other two faces with fixing means as shown for example in FIG. 5 and / or in FIG. 6 .

The structure of the advertising panel described above undoubtedly has advantages over that of panels of the same type of the prior art, in particular that described in the document mentioned in the preamble to this description.

In particular, it is obvious that it allows the portions of images to be placed on each facet. It suffices to unhook each facet of the frame 20,201, then slide the two edges 101, 102 of the image portion respectively in the two grooves 43 or under the lips 109, and again hang each facet 21 , 22 on the frame. It can be noted that, in the case in particular of a portion of paper image, the latter can be protected by a plastic covering film (not shown), the surface is substantially equivalent to that of the image portion, and the two edges of which are also slid respectively in the groove 43 or under the lips 109. Each image portion may, alternatively and advantageously, be made of plastic material printed.

The removal of the image portions and the possible cleaning of the facets are also easier, and above all less dangerous for the panel mechanism and for the workers, because, after having unhooked the frame the facets carrying the image portions, it is possible to transport them to a place where it is easy to work on the portions of images and / or facets.

1. Advertising panel comprising a support consisting of a frame on which facets are disposed in a removable manner on which portions of images are directly affixed, generally glued, so as to restore an overall planar fixed or moving image or several images mounted in rotation around an axis, characterized in that the panel consists of:

- a frame (201), - attachment means (108),

- At least two facets (21, 22), said frame (201) being composed of at least two rail elements (105,106) fixed horizontally or vertically on the support or on a rotary means forming a support and in that said facets (21, 22) each comprise at least one dorsal slide (107) and means (108) for fixing them in cooperation and in a removable manner on rail-forming elements (105, 106) and front lips (109), for by sliding and removably associating an image portion (100) on each of said facets (21, 22), said front lips (109) being partly open (111) at one of their ends to allow the introduction of the image portion (100) by sliding.

Advertising panel according to claim 1, characterized in that the elements forming the support rail for the facets are constituted by rail portions fixed on at least two flexible elements movable around at least two rotary drive elements, said elements rail portions being provided with facets (21, 22) provided with front lips (109), for associating by sliding and in a removable manner by sliding a portion of image (100)

Advertising panel comprising a support provided with a plurality of prisms respectively rotating around an axis on said support, each prism cooperating with a frame making it possible to removably hang facets according to claim 1, characterized in that at least one of the prisms (2,3,4) has at least two faces (5,6) and is constituted by:

- a frame (20),

- two facets (21, 22), and

- Means (23) for detachably hanging said facets (21, 22) on said frame (20), said facets being hung on said frame (20) by forming the two faces of said prism, and in that said means ( 19) to fix a portion of images (100) on a prism face consist of fixing elements (40) mounted in cooperation with the facet (21, 22) forming said face of the prism or by frontal lateral lips ( 109) making it possible to associate, by sliding and in a removable manner, a portion of images (100) on each of said facets (21, 22);

4. Advertising panel according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the means (23) for detachably hanging said facets on said frame consist of clipping means (30) mounted in cooperation with said frame (20) and said facets (21, 22);

5. Advertising panel according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the clipping means (30) mounted in cooperation with said frame and said facets are constituted by elastic interlocking means of male-female type (31, 32);

6. Advertising panel according to claim 5, characterized in that the external face of the facets (21, 22) is provided with a set of grooves or concave recesses allowing a fixed mounting in cooperation with the support using 'glue.

Advertising panel according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the fastening elements (40) mounted in cooperation with the facet comprise at least one strip (41) and means (42) for fixing said strip (41) on said facet so as to form, on the edge of the facet (21, 22), a groove (43) capable of trapping an edge (101, 102) of said image portion (100);

8. Advertising panel according to any one of claims from 1 to 5, characterized in that the means (42) for fixing the strip (41) on the facet comprise at least one clamp (50) capable of being positioned on the edge (51) of the facet (21, 22) and means for fixing said strip (41) on said clamp;

9. Advertising panel according to any one of claims from 1 to 5, characterized in that the means (42) for fixing the strip (41) to the facet (21, 22), consisting of said strip and of said facet, are made in one piece;

10. Advertising panel according to claims 8 and 9, characterized in that the assembly of the strip (41) and the clamp (50), as well as the assembly of the strip (41) and the facet (21, 22), are made of profiles;

11. Advertising panel according to any one of claims from 1 to 10, characterized in that at least one of the facets (21, 22) is made of a transparent material.
