Abstract

The wiping apparatus (1), particularly for cleaning surfaces, comprises a clamping device (4) for accommodating at least one wiper textile (2), one work surface (3) and a movably connected handle (7). The clamping device has a clamp position (5) which is elongated in the area of the front edge of the work surface. The handle is connected via a spring arrangement (6) capable of producing a set-back force.
