Abstract

Description

The present invention relates to a purse for the selective distribution of generally metallic coins.

The emergence on the market of new currencies represented essentially not by notes but by coins requires the establishment of new means of storage. Traditional purses in the form of pockets have the disadvantage of storing loose parts. It is therefore necessary to empty his wallet to allow the visualization of the content of the latter before being able to isolate the contents of his wallet the coins corresponding to the amount due. This results in a loss of time and a risk of loss of parts during the operation of emptying the wallet. Purses tending to orderly storage of coins have also been developed as illustrated in particular by the patent. EP-A-1097653 . In this document, the purse is constituted by a rectangular planar support provided with a plurality of housings, each housing being able to receive coins of the same value. The extraction of the parts of their housing is carried out by thrusting through a partially closed side of the housing so as to ensure extraction of parts by the other completely open side of said housing. Such a wallet has the disadvantage, when it is almost empty, to offer imperfect retention of parts. Moreover, because of its design, this wallet presents the risk, during the extraction of a room, to extract several rooms at a time from the same housing.

He is known throughout the document DE 1,532,874 a support with receiving housing parts, the support having in its center means for gripping between the two fingers positioned in a loop of a user. A rotational axis allows rotation of the support about said axis for selective release of stored parts.

He is also known throughout the document US 3,592,204 a support with receiving housing parts, the support having in its center means for gripping between the two fingers positioned in a loop of a user. These gripping means are constituted by solid central zones of each face of said support.

An object of the present invention is therefore to provide a wallet for the selective distribution of parts of a new type whose design allows a rapid distribution of parts while ensuring a good retention of the wallet by the user during the distribution of coins so as to prevent a theft by a third of said wallet.

For this purpose, the invention relates to a purse for the selective distribution of coins, comprising a support of coins inscribed in a circle having, at its periphery, housings respectively receiving a series of coins of identical value and equipped with temporary coin retention means, this medium comprising in its center gripping means accessible by each of the faces of said support to be able to grasp between two fingers positioned in a loop said support, the engagement means being traversed by a hole delimited by a rotating ring in the support and the gripping of the gripping means allowing the rotation of the support around the ring for a selective release of stored parts characterized in that the inner diameter of the ring is such that a finger can be introduced

Thanks to the presence, in this wallet, of gripping means located in the center of the circular support, it is possible to grasp between the two fingers this support of so as to form a loop trapping said support between the fingers so that the theft of such a purse is made impossible. As mentioned above, the wallet 1, object of the invention, is intended for the selective distribution of coins 2. This purse 1 consists of a support 3 of coins 2 inscribed in a circle. In the example shown, this support 3 consists of a plate or a barrel whose body has the shape of a cylinder. This support 3 has, at its periphery, housings 4 respectively receiving a series of pieces of identical value. Thus, a first housing 4 is intended to receive parts of 1, the second housing 4 parts of 2, etc. These housings 4 are preferably dimensioned to receive pieces of a progressive value from one housing 4 to another along the periphery of the support 3. It is thus sufficient to turn the support to obtain an increasing value of parts. Of course, these housings 4 still include means 5 for temporary retention of the parts 2 inside said housing 4. These means 5 retaining will be described below.

As mentioned above, to facilitate the selective distribution of the parts and the maintenance of the support 3, the support 3 comprises at its center 6 gripping means accessible by each of the faces of said support. These gripping means 6 make it possible to grasp between two fingers positioned in a loop said support 3, these two fingers forming a pivot axis or cooperating with the pivot axis to allow rotation of the support 3 while ensuring a retention of said support inside. of the user's hand so as to prevent the theft of such a medium. In the examples shown, these gripping means 6 consist of a through-hole of the support 3, this hole being positioned in such a way that the longitudinal axis of the hole is coincidental or coaxial with the central axis passing through the support 3 corresponding to the longitudinal axis of the cylinder in the case of a support 3 affecting the shape of a cylinder. In the examples shown, the support 3 of parts 2 is in turn in the form of a cylinder 4 housing with axial opening 4A and radial. The simplicity of use of such a wallet allows a quick distribution of coins without risk of error while prohibiting the theft of such a wallet during its use.

To allow the protection of the parts, it can be provided a removable insert cover coming to hide the distribution face of the support. This lid may also consist of two half-lids connected by a hinge secured to said support, the lid being recessed in its center to allow access to the gripping means.

Claims (6)

1. Coin holder (1) for the selective dispensing of coins (2), comprising a support (3) for coins (2) inscribed within a circle having, at its periphery, housings (4) receiving respectively a series of coins of identical value and equipped with means (5) for temporary retaining of the coins (2), this support comprising at its centre holding means (6) accessible from each of the faces of said support (3) in order to be able to grip said support (3) between two fingers positioned in a loop, the holding means (6) having passing through them a hole delimited by a collar (6A) rotating in the support (3) and gripping of the holding means enabling the rotation of the support around the collar 6A for a selective release of the stored coins (2), characterised in that the internal diameter of the collar (6A) is such that a finger can be inserted therein.

Coin holder (1) according to Claim 1, characterised in that the support (3) for coins (2) is in the form of a barrel with housings (4) with axial and radial opening (4A), one of the faces of the barrel, referred to as the face for dispensing the coins (2), being partially closed off by a star-shaped cover (7) partially fitting over the axial openings of said housings (4) in order to keep the coins (2) inside their housing (4).
3. Coin holder (1) according to Claim 2, characterised in that the other face of the barrel is closed by a cover (8) taking the form of a plate provided with members (9) for pushing the coins (2) in their housing (4).
4. Coin holder (1) according to Claim 2, characterised in that the housings (4) in the barrel are blind, the bottoms of the housings (4) in the barrel being provided with an elastically deformable boss.
5. Coin holder (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the housings (4) are dimensioned to receive coins with a progressive value from one housing (4) to another along the periphery of the support (3).
6. Coin holder (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the housings (4) have in their vicinity tactile means of identifying or recognising the value of the coins contained in said housings.
