Description

The invention relates to a heating mat with an electrical resistance heating in the heating wires are laid in a surrounding with textile fabric insert core.

Known heating mats, also called Infrarotkurmatten be operated with electric power and installed, for example, in beds or placed on mattresses or incorporated in electric blankets. To avoid electrostatic charging of upper and lower beds, it is known ( EP 00 653 16 A1 ), to provide these parts with a conductive copper insert, for example in the form of woven copper strands. From the AT 4 215 U There is also known a bed insert which, for shielding a sleeper from electrical fields, comprises a shielding layer of a needled non-metallic fiber nonwoven web having a grounding terminal, a minimum portion of which is electrically conductive. Although this electrically conductive shielding layer, which is arranged on at least one side of a bed insert between the insert core and that textile fabric on which the sleeper lies, largely shields the sleeper from electrostatic fields, these known inserts can not adequately shield them from those caused by the heating wires achieve generated electromagnetic alternating fields.

The invention is therefore the object of a heating mat of the type described in such a way that with simple constructive Means an effective shielding of a sleeper to electromagnetic alternating fields, in particular caused by the heating wires magnetic alternating fields, can be achieved.

The invention achieves the stated object by virtue of the fact that the heating wires are laid bifilarly with currents flowing counter to one another and that at least one electrically conductive shielding layer connected to a grounding conductor of a power supply cable is arranged between the textile fabric and the insert core. As a result of the bifilar laying of the heating wires, ie the two-sided or two-fold laying of the heating wires next to one another, the currents flowing through the heating wires flow towards each other, as a result of which induction effects between the individual heating wires almost cancel each other out. In order to achieve a uniform heat dissipation of the heating mat, the heating wires are distributed, for example meandering over the entire heating mat.

In order not only to be able to avoid or prevent alternating electromagnetic fields with the heating mat according to the invention, but also to prevent electrostatic charging of upper and lower beds, an electrically conductive shielding layer is arranged between the textile fabric and the insert core. This electrically conductive shielding layer is to ensure an advantageous grounding of the nonwoven fabric connected to a grounding line of the power supply cable for the resistance heating, which at the same time takes place with the connection of the heating blanket to a grounded power plug grounding of the fleece.

In order to reduce the already low magnetic alternating fields even further and to simplify the laying of the heating wires or to ensure an always consistent small distance between the current flowing through in opposite directions heating wires, the heating wires are laid twisted together.

A heating mat 1 according to the invention has an electrical resistance heater 2 in which heating wires 3 are laid in a core 5 surrounded by textile fabric 4. The individual heating wires 3 are laid bifilar, which means that in each two juxtaposed heating wires 3, the currents flow counter to each other, whereby induction effects cancel each other almost completely. If a power cord 6 is connected by means of a plug 7 and a switch 8 to the heating wires 3, the heating current flows first in a heating wire 3 through the meandered resistance heater 2 until the end of the resistance heater 2 and then back in the opposite direction. Thus, according to the invention, only a heating wire 3 must be provided, which consists of two equal length, twisted together, together at one end and connected to the power supply at the other end heating wires 3.

For additional shielding of electrostatic fields or for damping any remaining electromagnetic residual fields between the textile fabric 4 and the insert core 5, an electrically conductive shield layer 9 is arranged, which is connected to the ground terminal 10 of the power cable 6. In order to introduce no interference fields in the heating mat 1 through the power cable 6, this is also shielded at least in the area of the heating mat 1.
