Claims (3)

  1. Locking device having a lock cylinder (2) and a flat key (3) which has inside tracks and is designed as a turning key, the locking device having the following features:
    a) the lock cylinder (2) comprises a cylinder housing (4) and a cylinder core (50) mounted in a rotatable manner in the housing (4);
    b) the key channel (60) of the cylinder core (50) has arranged in it frame-like tumblers (5-12) which are spring-loaded such that they can be displaced, transversally to this key channel of the cylinder core, from a locking position into an unlocking position;
    c) the frame-like tumblers (5-12) can be displaced from their locking position into the unlocking position by virtue of the bit (15) of the flat key (3) being pushed into the key channel (60), wherein a cam (17-24) which extends into the interior of the respective frame-like tumbler (5-12) is supported on a corresponding inside track (26, 27) of the key bit (15);
    d) the cam (24) of at least one of the frame-like tumblers (12), in the locking position of the tumbler (12), has been displaced in the direction of the inner surface (28) of the key channel (60) to such an extent that, when the associated flat key (3) is pushed into the key channel (60), it is no longer the case that the activating slope (30) of the inside track (27), this slope being located in the region of the tip of the flat key (3), gives rise to any rear engagement of the cam or therefore to any displacement of this cam (24);
    e) the frame-like tumbler (12), which is assigned to this cam (24), is configured such that the inner wall (31) of the tumbler (12), this inner wall being located opposite the cam (24), likewise projects into the key channel (60) in the locking position of this tumbler;
    f) the bit (15) of the flat key (3) projects, at the tip, some way beyond the activating slopes (29, 30) of the inside tracks (26, 27) and has in each case a key periphery (32, 33) which is located opposite the corresponding inside track (26, 27) and has, at the front, a run-on slope (34, 35), which is directed towards the tip of the key, or a correspondingly rounded region such that, when the key bit (15) is introduced into the key channel (60), it forces, in the first instance by way of the key periphery (32, 33), the inner wall (31) of the tumbler (12) laterally out of the key channel (60), in which case the cam (24), which is assigned to this tumbler (12), is forced further into the key channel (60) and the activating slope (30) of the inside track (27) can engage behind the cam (24).
  2. Locking device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the locking device (1) is a four-track internal locking system in which the bit (15) of the flat key (3), on each of its broad sides, has a recessed track (25) which is bounded in each case by two lateral inside tracks (26, 27) extending in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the flat key (3), and in that the two opposite key peripheries (32, 33), which are arranged at the tip in front of the activating slopes (29, 30) of the inside tracks (26, 27), each have a run-on slope (34, 35), which is directed towards the tip of the key, or a correspondingly rounded region.
  3.
