Abstract

Bei einer Elektrolumineszenz-Leuchtanordnung mit einem Trägersubstrat (1) aus einem elektrisch isolierenden Material, auf dem sich eine elektrisch leitende Schicht befindet, aus der wenigstens zwei elektrisch voneinander isolierte Leitbahnbereiche herausgearbeitet sind, die eine erste Elektrode (3) und eine zweite Elektrode (5) bilden und von einer Pigmentschicht (14) überdeckt werden, deren dotierte Pigmente beim Anlegen einer Wechselspannung an die beiden Elektroden leuchten, ist zur Steigerung der Leuchthelligkeit vorgesehen, daß die Pigmentschicht (14) zumindest in einem Teilbereich ihrer Fläche mit einer dünnen, transparenten, elektrisch leitenden Deckschicht (16) überdeckt ist, an welche im Betrieb von außen keine zusätzliche Spannung angelegt wird.
