Abstract
Description
Beschreibungdescription
Endgerät mit ProjektionsdisplayTerminal device with projection display
The invention relates to a mobile data and / or communication terminal.
Such a terminal is, for example, a mobile video telephone or a mobile video camera for still or moving images. The terminal can also be a small mobile computer.
Various methods are currently used for image stabilization in video cameras. Such a method is shown in FIG. 1, in which displaceable lenses are used. An object OB is recorded by a recording device AE, for example the video camera. The recording device AE has an image sensor BS, for example a so-called C OS chip. The recording device AE has an optical system or an objective OT, via which the object OB is imaged on the image sensor BS.
When the recording device AE moves, different image sections BA result, as shown with the aid of the solid and broken lines. The recording device AE has movement sensors (not shown in more detail) which detect this movement and specifically shift the optics OT for image stabilization. The image stabilization ultimately prevents blurred images from being recorded via the image sensor BS.
The mobile terminals mentioned in the introduction generally have display devices, for example LC displays, for image reproduction or for the reproduction of status information and input instructions.
The invention has for its object to improve the handling of mobile devices with projection displays. This object is achieved by the features specified in claim 1.
The mobile terminal according to the invention has a stabilized projection display. When the terminal is operated via a built-in keyboard, movement of the projection display when the buttons are pressed can thus be prevented.
Dabei zeigenThe invention is described below using an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing. Show
Figur 1 eine aufnahmeseitige Bildstabilisierung bei einer Videokamera gemäß dem Stand der Technik,FIG. 1 shows image stabilization on the recording side in a video camera according to the prior art,
Figur 2 das erfindungsgemäße Endgerät mit einem Projektions- display,FIG. 2 shows the terminal device according to the invention with a projection display,
Figur 3 eine Weiterbildung des Endgerätes durch Verwendung eines Lichtstrahles als Zeigemedium undFigure 3 shows a further development of the terminal by using a light beam as a pointing medium and
Figure 4 shows a further embodiment of the terminal according to the invention by using a camera.
The terminal EG according to the invention shown in FIG. 2 has a projection display PD, with an image being projected from the terminal EG onto a projection surface, for example a white wall, via optics (OT in FIG. 1) that are not shown in detail. The image can also be displayed on an appropriately inclined surface on a table.
The projection display PD is generated by a miniaturized projector or a miniaturized projector using the optics in the terminal EG. The design of this projector is of minor importance for the invention and is not shown in the drawing. According to the invention, the terminal EG has one or more sensors, via which the movements or a blurring of the terminal EG are detected. For example, by correcting the reproducing optics (OT in FIG. 1), these movements are compensated for during image reproduction. The movement of the terminal is symbolically represented in two levels by the two double arrows P1 and P2, for example. The means for image stabilization are, for example, analogous to FIG. 1 and not shown in detail in FIG. 2.
The terminal EG according to the invention can, for example, be tilted in two dimensions by a certain angle without shifting the projected image (on the projection surface) or the projection display PD. This movement compensation is switchable, for example via a button on the terminal EG. When motion compensation is switched off, the projected image is adjusted to the selected projection surface, table or wall. By switching on the compensation, the image is clamped, so to speak.
In the development of the invention shown in FIG. 3, the terminal has a so-called laser pointer. This laser pointer or another light source emits a light beam L, which can be positioned at least within the projection display PD by moving the terminal EG. For example, details within the projection display PD can be illuminated or marked.
Another embodiment of the invention is shown in FIG. 4, in which the terminal EG has a camera KA. The camera KA is used to record the projected image or the image content of the projection display PD and also detects the position of the light beam L. This combination tion can be treated as operator input for the device EG. A part of the projection display PD is captured by the camera KA, for example, as a camera image. The camera image KB is arranged, for example, in the lower left half of the projection display PD.
The combination of the projection display PD, light beam L and recording via the camera KA enables operator input without a keyboard. The light beam L is moved, for example, onto a symbol in the projection display PD and thus activates the same. The projection display PD according to the invention does not force the user to have to switch between a keyboard on the terminal EG and the image shown on or in the projection display PD.
