Abstract

A distance retainer (11) for media pipes (10) to be guided through protective pipes is provided with a ring body (12) consisting of several ring segments (13) which are in turn provided with radially projecting, axially oriented sliding runners (16, 17) and which are manufactured from plastic. Connecting elements (19, 21) which engage with each other are provided on the ends (18, 20) of the ring segments (13) that face towards each other. The axial recesses (31, 41) of these connecting elements that lie axially adjacent to each other are penetrated by an axial connecting mechanism (22). The invention provides that in order to be able to adapt the diameter to the particular media pipes within greater diameter ranges and therefore more simply, the connecting elements (19, 21) that engage with each other lie on top of each other in a radial direction and one connecting element (19) is provided with two or more recesses (31) which lie behind each other, a distance apart, in the peripheral direction.

Description

Titel: Distanzhalter für durch Schutzrohre hindurchzuführende MedienrohreTitle: Spacer for media tubes to be passed through protective tubes
Beschreibungdescription
The present invention relates to a spacer for media tubes to be passed through protective tubes according to the preamble of claim 1.
In such a spacer known from DE-U-93 07 170, the connecting elements of the ring segment there are formed by integrally molded eyes formed at the ends thereof, through the bore recesses of which a pin is pushed axially as a connecting element.
Such a spacer must be matched to the diameter of the media tube relatively precisely, since the spacer in its connected state has a defined inside diameter that is as close as possible to the outside diameter of the media tube to be surrounded should match. This means that a spacer of the appropriate size must be kept available for media pipes of different diameters or diameter ranges.
For a diameter adjustment within relatively narrow limits, a spacer is known from DE-U-296 00 375, the ring segments of which are provided with radially projecting connecting flanges, adjacent flanges being connected with an elastic clamping ring. It has been found that the diameter adaptation of such spacers to the diameter areas of the media pipes is still set too narrow limits.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a spacer for media tubes of the type mentioned at the outset, with which a diameter adjustment to the media tubes in question is possible in larger diameter ranges and thus in a more problem-free manner.
To achieve this object, the features specified in claim 1 are provided in a spacer for media pipes of the type mentioned to be passed through protective pipes.
The measures according to the invention make it possible, due to the spaced-apart recesses for the connecting member, to adapt a spacer covering different diameter ranges to different media pipe diameters. Large diameter ranges are covered sufficiently in particular if the spacer is provided with two or more ring segments, since each connection area between two ring segments can be varied accordingly. An axial, ie lateral, guidance of the two connecting elements to one another results when the features are provided according to claim 2.
With the features according to claim 3, a simple parallel sliding against each other of the two connecting elements is guaranteed.
Vorteilhafte konstruktive Ausgestaltungen der beiden Verbindungselemente ergeben sich durch die Merkmale eines oder mehrerer der Ansprüche 4 bis 6.Advantageous structural configurations of the two connecting elements result from the features of one or more of claims 4 to 6.
A simple first fixation in the radial direction is achieved if the features are provided according to claim 7. Another advantage is that the connecting element can be inserted in a simple manner into the recesses that are in alignment therewith. If the one connecting element is provided with parallel fingers, the features according to claim 8 are expediently provided.
A further advantageous measure for simple assembly or insertion of the connecting member through the two connecting elements is obtained if the features are provided according to claim 9, because a circumferential detent is achieved in advance.
The spacer 11 has an annular body 12 composed of a plurality of identically designed ring segments 13. It goes without saying that the annular body 12 can also consist of only one or fewer or more ring segments than shown here, depending on the outer diameter of the media tube 10. Each ring segment 13 has radially protruding outer circumferential projections 16, 17 that run in the axial direction of the ring body 12 and serve as sliding runners. It goes without saying that the ring segment 13 can also have only one or more than two sliding runners 16, 17.
The ring segment 13, which is symmetrical with respect to its longitudinal center axis, has a connecting element 19 or 21 at each end 18, 20, one connecting element 19 being provided at one end 18 and the other connecting element 21 at the other end 20, or being molded onto a plastic ring segment is. The two connecting elements 19 and 21 are such that they fit into one another and can be connected to one another with a connecting element 22 for fixing in the circumferential direction. In the illustrated embodiment, the ring segments 13 are each of the same length; it goes without saying that ring segments 13 of different lengths can also be used on a media tube 10, so that they span circular arches of different sizes.

Seen circumferentially provided only over a portion of the other connecting element 21.
To attach a spacer 11 or its ring body 12 around a media tube of a certain diameter, a plurality of ring segments 13 are connected to one another by pushing the two connecting elements 19 and 21 into one another (FIG. 4). When one connecting element 19 is inserted into the other connecting element 21, the fingers 26 are brought through the guide openings 46 of the bridge element 36 of the other connecting element 21, the underside 33 of one connecting element 19 sliding on the upper side 40 of the other connecting element 21 and the fingers 26 between the middle guide strips 43 and the outside guide strips 44 are guided in the axial direction. The locking elements 47 on the underside 33 of the bottom 29 and on the top 40 of the bottom 39 prevent the two connecting elements 19 and 21 from unintentionally sliding apart. H. the spacer 11 can essentially be fixed against displacement around the media tube 10 and the two connecting elements 19 and 21 can be brought together by hand by engaging the sliding runners 16, 17 of adjacent ring segments 13. The interconnection of the connecting elements 19 and 21 takes place to such an extent that a group of the recesses 31 in alignment with one another of the one connecting element 19 comes approximately into alignment with the outside recesses 41 of the other connecting element 21. The connecting member 22 is inserted in the axial direction in the then aligned recesses 31 and 41 of the two connecting elements 19 and 21.
The connecting member 22 is one with a wider handle end in the illustrated embodiment 23 provided plastic tape that can run slightly wedge-shaped towards its end facing away from the handle end 23. It goes without saying that a conventional plastic tensioning band can also be used as the connecting member 22, the two ends of which can be connected to one another by means of latch-like loops.
Due to the plurality of pairs of recesses of the fingers 26 arranged in the circumferential direction, an adaptation to wide diameter ranges of the media tubes 10 is possible in particular in the case of ring bodies 12 which are composed of a plurality of ring segments 13. A non-slip surrounding of the media tube 10 is also possible by adjusting the individual connections of the several ring segments 13.
