- Single-stroke pneumatic hammer comprising a body (1) which includes a cylinder (2) and a casing (3) surrounding the cylinder (2) and forming between them a first air chamber (4), a hollow handle (22) secured to the said body (1), at least one piston (5, 6) which is mounted on an axial shaft (7), the anterior end (8) of which forms the striker, and which can move in the cylinder (2) under the effect of compressed air stored in the air chambers, and means for actuating the hammer which are controlled by a trigger (25), the said hammer being connected to a flexible hose (27) which links it to a compressed air source, characterized in that the rear portion of the hammer is formed by the hollow handle (22), the internal cavity of which forms a second air chamber (23) communicating with the first air chamber (4).
- Hammer according to Claim 1, characterized in that the handle (22) has, as seen from the side, the general shape of an inverted U, one of the branches of which is secured to a rear face of the body (1).
