  13. A strand guide according to claim 12, characterized in that shims for the casting thickness (25) are provided between supporting bars (29) arranged at the side of the first supporting frames (7) and on the supporting frames (8) of the second supporting path (2).
  14. A strand guide according to one or several of claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the supporting frames (7, 8) of the first and/or second supporting path (1, 2) are supported on respective longitudinal frames (9, 12) associated therewith only by means of a single pressure cylinder (16) each.
  15. A strand guide according to one or several of claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the supporting frames (7, 8) of the first and/or second supporting path (1, 2) are supported on the first and second longitudinal frames (9, 12), respectively, via four pressure cylinders (16) which, in each case, are arranged in the corner areas that appear in the plan view of the supporting frames.
  16. A strand guide according to one or several of claims 1 to 15, characterized in that, for determining the position of the supporting frames (7, 8) of the first and/or second supporting path (1, 2) relative to the supporting frames (7, 8) of the respective opposing supporting path (1, 2), travel sensors (27) are provided between the first and second supporting frames (7, 8), preferably on extensions (28) arranged at the side of the supporting frames (7, 8) and oriented toward each other.
  17. A strand guide according to one or several of claims 9 to 16, characterized in that the hydraulic cylinders (16) provided between the first and/or second longitudinal beams (9, 12) and the supporting frames (7, 8) of the first and/or second supporting path (1, 2) are provided with a controller for adjusting a predetermined position of the supporting frames (7, 8) relative to each other and/or relative to the longitudinal beams (9, 12).
  18. A strand guide according to claim 17, characterized in that the hydraulic cylinders (16) are coupled with travel sensors (27).
  19. A strand guide according to one or several of claims 1 to 18, characterized in that cooling chamber walls (20) are provided directly on the supporting frames (7, 8) of the first and second supporting paths.
  20. A strand guide according to one or several of claims 9 to 19, characterized in that the hydraulic cylinders (16) provided for supporting the supporting frames (7, 8) on the longitudinal beams (9, 12) are attached to the longitudinal beams (9, 12) and/or to the supporting frames (7, 8) or, in case a stool (8") is provided, to the latter, respectively, by means of an easily detachable connection, preferably by means of a wedge connection.
  21. A strand guide according to one or several of claims 1 to 20, characterized in that travel sensors (27) are provided between the first longitudinal beams (9) and the supporting frames (7) of the first supporting path (1) and also between the supporting frames (7, 8) of the first and second supporting paths (1, 2).
  22. A strand guide according to one or several of claims 1 to 21, characterized in that the supporting frames (7, 8) of the first and/or second supporting path (1, 2) are provided with lateral extensions (8') overlapping the longitudinal beams (9, 12) associated therewith on the outside, by means of which lateral extensions the supporting frames (7, 8) are supported on the associated longitudinal beams (9, 12) either directly or via adjusting means (16), or, in case a stool (8") is provided, on the latter, respectively.
  23. A strand guide according to one or several of claims 1 to 22, characterized in that the longitudinal beams (9, 12) are formed in one piece with the connecting means (14).
  24. A strand guide according to one or several of claims 1 to 23, characterized in that a separate module (34) for receiving at least one pair of rolls, formed by rolls (35) which are driven and arranged opposite to each other, is provided between adjacent supporting frames (7, 8).
  25. A strand guide according to claim 24, characterized in that the module (34) comprises two cross beams (36, 37), with one of the cross beams (36) being supported on the first longitudinal beam (9) and the other cross beam (37) being supported on the second longitudinal beam (12), and that at least one driven roll (35) is supported either directly or indirectly on each of the cross beams (36, 37).
  26. A strand guide according to claim 25, characterized in that a driven roll (35) is supported on the cross beam (37) via a displacement means (38) such as a pressure cylinder (38).
  27. A strand guide according to one or several of claims 9 to 26, characterized in that the adjusting means (16, 17) are provided with force-sensing means (39), preferably with wire strain gauges.
  28. A method of adjusting the position of adjacent supporting frames (7, 8) relative to each other in a plant according to one or several of claims 1 to 27, characterized in that the relative position of adjacent supporting frames (7, 8) is measured, such as by the travel sensors or by a device for measuring the casting gap or by pressure evaluations of the pressures of the adjusting means (16) during a test run and/or during the casting operation, and that the desired position of the supporting frames (7, 8) is corrected with the aid of the adjusting means upon detection of deviations of the casting-gap path formed by the supporting paths (1, 2).
  29. A method of determining the point of complete solidification of a strand cast in a plant according to one or several of claims 1 to 27, characterized in that strain measurements are performed on the connecting means (14) of the longitudinal beams (9, 12).
