Abstract

Tilt and turn mounting comprises an upper shearing bearing and a lower corner bearing. The corner bearing has a housing (10) fixed to the frame of the window or door, and a bearing strip (36) which pivots in the housing via a latch (34). The corner bearing housing and the bearing strip are mirror images. Preferred Features: The symmetrical plane runs horizontally or orthogonally to the pivoting axis of the window or door.
