Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines drahtlosen Audiosystems, welches mindestes ein zentrales Steuersystem (1) und ein Audioübertragungssystem bestehend aus Sendern und Empfangseinheiten umfaßt, und bei welchem eine Übertragung von Steuer- und/oder Audioinformationssignalen über eine Vielzahl von individuellen Übertragungskanälen erfolgen kann. Dabei findet ein Überprüfen der Übertragungsqualität einzelner Übertragungskanäle auf der einer jeden Empfangseinheit zugeordneten Funkstrecke zu Beginn der Übertragung durch sukzessive Durchführung von Messungen von frequenzspezifischen Empfangsfeldstärken bei im Verhältnis zur Bandbreite eines einzelnen Übertragungskanals relativ kleinen Frequenzschritten statt, wobei für einen jeden einzelnen Frequenzschritt die Empfangsfeldstärke über die Steuerfunkstrecke an die Zentraleinheit übermittelt wird. Sodann wird ein Kanalabbild in der Zentraleinheit festgelegt, welches die Bandbelegungssituation für jede einzelne Audioempfangsstation wiedergibt. Für jede Empfangseinheit findet sodann ein Ermitteln der Frequenzen statt, bei denen die Empfangsfeldstärke am wenigsten gestört ist, und die jeweils ausgewählt und zugewiesen werden.
