Claims (10)

  1. Attachment for paper shredders (1) for receiving and feeding documents, wherein the paper shredder (1) comprises a housing, preferably consisting of a cupboard-like lower part (2) and a selectably removable housing upper part (4), inclusive of cutting mechanism (6) arranged in the upper region of the housing (4), with cutting rollers and strippers, as well as an associated drive unit (5), wherein a feed shaft (10) for so-called crumpled paper is provided above the cutting mechanism (6) and the attachment (11) is arranged above this feed shaft (10) to be fixed or selectably removable, wherein the attachment (11) forms in common with a covered, interrupted upper region of the housing upper part (4) a receiving space for so-called crumpled paper and wherein this receiving space is disposed in connection with the feed shaft (10), characterised in that the attachment (11) comprises an integrated closure unit (20), which compnses movable or positionally variable parts, by which the filling opening (17) of the attachment (11) and the transition region between the receiving space and the feed shaft (10) are opened and closed in alternation, as well as comprises means for actuating and controlling the closure unit (20) or parts of the unit (20), wherein the closure unit (20) comprises a closing element (21) rotatable about a horizontal axis, and the movable closing element (21) of the closure unit (20) has a base body at which, with exception of approximately half the circumferential surface, there is formed a receiving trough (23) which is arranged to be rotatable by its body longitudinal axis about the horizontal.
  2. Attachment for a paper shredder according to claim 1, characterised in that the base body of the movable closing element (21) is cylindrical.
  3. Attachment for a paper shredder according to claim 1, characterised in that the movable closing element (21) substantially constructed as a hollow body has a body shape departing from a cylinder.
  4. Attachment for a paper shredder according to claim 3, charactensed in that the movable closing element (21) formed by a hollow body is a cube, a block, a column or a prism, which has at least two openings, wherein one of these openings is associated with the opening (17) in the front surface (15) of the attachment (11) and the other opening in the body is associated with the feed shaft (10).
  5. Method of filling a paper shredder with use of an attachment for a paper shredder according to one of patent claims 1 to 4, characterised in that closing of the opening (17) in the front surface (15) of the attachment (11) and opening of the feed shaft (10) take place at the same time and constantly in advance.
  6. Method of filling a paper shredder according to patent claim 5, characterised in that closing of the opening (17) in the front surface (15) of the attachment (11) and opening of the feed shaft (10) take place at the same time and constantly in advance.
  7. Method of filling a paper shredder according to patent claim 5, characterised in that closing of the opening (17) in the front surface (15) of the attachment (11) and opening of the feed shaft (10) take place at the same time and accelerated from one another.
  8. Method of filling a paper shredder according to patent claim 5, characterised in that closing of the opening (17) in the front surface (15) of the attachment (11) and opening of the feed shaft (10) take place at the same time and braked in advance of one another.
  9. Method of filling a paper shredder according to patent claim 5, characterised in that closing of the opening (17) in the front surface (15) of the attachment (11) and opening of the feed shaft (10) take place at the same time and in advance in terms of interval.
  10. Method of filling a paper shredder according to patent claims 5 to 9, characterised in that during the closing process the front, lower body edge of the closing element (21) is moved substantially upwardly in movement direction (arrow 22) or upwardly and downwardly and wherein the movement/turning is preferably non-circulatory or non-rotational.
