Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren für die Vermeidung von Unfällen durch Straßen-, Schienen- und Luftfahrzeugen.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, den eingangs geschilderten Unfällen in verbesserter Weise vorzubeugen.
Zur Lösung der Aufgabe der Erfindung wird eine Vorrichtung für die technische Überprüfung von Fahrzeugen bereitgestellt, die zwei zu beiden Seiten einer Fahrbahn oder'spiegelsymmetrisch an einem Fahrzeug angebrachte Detektoren aufweist. Die Detektoren sind so positioniert, dass physikalische Eigenschaften bei zwei symmetrisch am Fahrzeug angebrachten Einrichtungen gemessen werden können. Solche Einrichtungen sind beispielsweise Reifen sowie Radlager an einem Auto. Eine physikalische Eigenschaft im Sinne der Erfindung ist beispielsweise die Geräuschentwicklung oder die auftretende Temperatur beim Reifen oder dem Radlager.
Die Vorrichtung umfasst eine Auswerteeinheit, mit der eine Differenz zwischen zwei zeitgleich durch die beiden Detektoren gemessenen Werte ausgewertet wird. Eine Warneinrichtung ist bei der Vorrichtung vorgesehen, die ein Warnsignal abgibt, wenn aus der Auswertung das Überschreiten eines vorgegebenen Schwellwertes resultiert. Das Warnsignal wird beispielsweise an den Fahrzeuglenker übermittelt. Dies kann mit der Aufforderung verbunden sein, sein Fahrzeug anzuhalten.
