Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Steckverbinder, insbesondere für SMD-Steckverbindungen. Die den Verbinder bildenden Steckverbindungselemente (1, 2) sind dabei jeweils mit die elektrischen Kontakte abschirmenden Schirmblechen (3, 3' ; 4, 4') versehen. Die Schirmbleche ihrerseits liegen, in verbundenem Zustand, im wesentlichen vollflächig aneinander an und sind mit Rastverbindungen (5, 17 ; 6, 18) an den jeweiligen Steckverbindungselementen (1, 2) festgelegt. Zur elektrischen Kontaktierung der Schirmbleche (3, 3' ; 4, 4') dienen Lötfahnen (7, 7' ; 8, 8'), die über die Steckverbindungselemente (1,2) überstehen. Vorzugsweise sind an die Schirmbleche (3, 3' ; 4, 4') SMD-Anschlüsse (21; 22) angeformt.
