Abstract

Eine Hohlleiterarmatur zum Verbinden insbesondere eines Rechteckhohlleiters mit einem elliptischen Hohlleiter (3) läßt sich besonders einfach montieren und ergibt dennoch eine sehr reflexionsarme Verbindung, wenn die Armatur (1) zumindest an ihrem einen Ende leitend mit dem ersten Abschnitt einer Hülse (2) versehen ist, deren zweiter Abschnitt zur Aufnahme des Endbereichs des anzuschließenden Hohlleiters (3) bestimmt ist und die zumindest in diesem zweiten Abschnitt durch schmale, kapillar wirkende, axiale Schlitze (22) in radial federnde Lamellen (23) unterteilt ist, welche nach dem Einschieben des Hohlleiters (3) gegen dessen Außenwand anliegen, und zusätzlich die Innenwand mindestens des zweiten Abschnittes der Hülse (2) zur Aufnahme eines Lotdepots (41) ausgebildet ist. Zum Herstellen der Verbindung muß dann nur noch die gesamte Verbindungsstelle mit einer äußeren Wärmequelle erwärmt werden, bis das Lot in den Lotdepots (41) schmilzt und die Spalte zwischen der Innenwand dieses Abschnittes der Hülse und der Außenwand des Hohlleiters ausfüllt.

To make the connection, the entire connection point then only has to be heated with an external heat source until the solder melts in the solder deposits (41) and fills the gaps between the inner wall of this section of the sleeve and the outer wall of the waveguide.
