- a hair clipper of the type mentioned is known from US 2,741,026.
- the formed from a cutting comb and an oscillating cutting blade Cutting head is rigidly attached to the fork ends of the fork-shaped housing head.
- the arcuate design of the cutting comb with two rows of cutting teeth allows the hair clipper to be pivoted to 9 ° and the cutting comb attached to it, during the relatively wide distance of each row of cutting teeth of the cutting head used to the largest diameter the housing of the hair clipper to use the two rows of cutting teeth Should allow trimming.
- a hair clipper of the type mentioned is known with one pivoted for shaving and trimming in appropriate positions
- Cutting head consisting of a swivel mounted in a cam control Carrying element and a cutting comb with only one row of cutting teeth and Cutting blade, which is in contact with the by means of a spring leaf resting on the support element Cutting comb is held.
- a drive element protruding from the upper side of the housing transfers the drive movement to the cutting blade.
- the support element is one of one Spring element acted upon friction element arranged such that this to the system gets to the upper housing shell of the housing of the hair clipper to hold the shaving head in any pivoted position by means of an intended friction.
- GB 2 294 230 is a hair clipper with one in any direction pivotally mounted cutting head known, the pivotability via a ball joint from the housing to the cutting head is guaranteed.
- the one from a support element and a cutting head composed of a housing cover has a cutting comb and a cutting blade each provided with two parallel to each other Rows of cutting teeth, which are however arranged in the cutting head in such a way that only one the interacting rows of cutting teeth of the cutting comb and cutting blade from this Housing protrudes.

- the Invention has several advantages. One of the advantages is to be seen in that designed as a housing shell support element on the cutting head for driving the Components provided for the cutting blade, e.g. Bearing block, cutting blade holder with Coupling elements as well as locking device and locking device largely are encapsulated for direct access of cut hair into this drive area to prevent.
- the housing shell also enables the arrangement of a locking device for fastening and removing the cutting head for the purpose of Cleaning and maintenance and therefore also facilitates its interchangeability.
- Another important advantage of the invention results from the geometric shape the housing shell pivotally mounted on the fork elements of the housing and the adjacent housing wall of the housing.
- the provided according to the invention outer contour of the housing shell ensures a relatively tight adjustment of the inner Contour of the housing wall of the housing over the overall swivel range the housing shell.
- the distance between the outer contour of the housing shell and the inner contour of the housing wall of the housing can be dimensioned so small that on the one hand ensures a smooth swiveling movement of the housing shell and on the other hand penetration of cut hair largely into the interior of the housing is excluded.
- a tenth of a millimeter distance between the inner contour of the housing wall of the housing and the outer contour of the housing shell is already sufficient for a smooth swiveling movement of the cutting head, as well as for example to prevent hair from entering the inside of the housing.
- the assignment of two cutting blades to a cutting comb advantageously enables Way a different design of the teeth of the cutting comb and the two cutting blades formed rows of cutting teeth, for example in such a way that the Extension length of a row of cutting teeth is considerably less than the extension length the other row of cutting teeth can be formed.
- Such different training ensure optimal use of the hair clipper by commissioning the row of cutting teeth suitable for the respective cutting process. cutting operations in areas that are difficult to access, for example, with a row of cutting teeth cut shorter extension length much easier and easier than with one larger or relatively large extension length. Rows of incisors with larger extension lengths on the other hand, for example, are particularly suitable for contour cutting.
- a preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized in that a wall the housing shell by a lateral surface of the sector of the circular cylinder with one of the outgoing radius of the swivel axis can be determined.
- a wall of the Housing shell through the outer surface of two assembled sectors of circular cylinders is formed.
- the radius of the respective Sectors of the circular cylinders are dimensioned the same size.
- the radius of the respective Sectors of the circular cylinders are sized differently.
- This measure according to the invention has several advantages.
- the different radii of each Sectors of the circular cylinders create a geometrical shape of the housing shell with a stepped outer contour of the lateral surfaces or the wall of the Shell.
- This step-shaped paragraph can be used, for example, as a limit stop for the pivoting movement of the housing shell and thus the cutting head of the hair clipper be used.
- This measure continues to result in tight encapsulation the drive elements and the cutting parts of the cutting head without unnecessary Loss of space.
- the gain in space can be used, for example, for the arrangement of further components be used within the housing of the hair clipper.
- the extension length the lateral surface of the respective sectors of the circular cylinders on the edge of the housing shell is of different lengths.
- the rows of cutting teeth are provided of the cutting head have different extension lengths, so that for the selected the optimal extension length of a row of cutting teeth for each application can be.
- the Extension length of the lateral surface essentially to the extension length of the Row of cutting teeth is adjusted.
- each end wall is formed by at least two conical surface areas Swivel axis aligned different cone angle.
- a particularly simple one Storage of the housing shell on the housing wall of the housing is characterized by this that a leading to the pivot axis end of the conical surface of the housing shell formed as a blunt cone with a bearing surface intersecting the swivel axis at right angles is ..
- the geometric design of the inner contour of the housing wall of the housing is based on the adapted to the outer contour of the wall of the housing shell. This adjustment leaves different Embodiments too.
- a preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the end of the housing is fork-shaped and that the housing shell by means of a pivot bearing is pivotally mounted on the fork elements of the housing.
