Description
The invention relates to a press arrangement for the treatment of a fibrous web, in particular paper, board or tissue web, in a formed between a shoe press roll and a mating surface, extended in the running direction press nip, the shoe press roll rotatably mounted carrier, a rotating around the support flexible press cover and comprises at least one press shoe supported on the support over which the flexible press jacket against the counter surface pressable and extended in the direction of the mantle over the press nip through an outlet, the press shoe is pushed out in the operating position of the undeformed Pressmantelkontur, pressed the Preßmantel against against the mating surface Preßschuh is guided by this so that it runs in the region of the press nip radially outside an imaginary circular path, which would result in assumed continuous circular cylindrical track guide, and in the region of the free end the outlet is present at this.
As a rule, the fibrous web is guided through the press nip together with at least one dewatering belt, for example a felt.
In the usual press arrangements of the type mentioned above, the press jacket runs due to its inherent rigidity, centrifugal forces and the Preßmantelinnendruck in a large radius from the press nip. Accordingly, the separation of paper and felt takes place only far outside the press nip, with the result that the rewetting of the paper occurring up to the separation from the felt, in particular with thinner papers, such as e.g. is very high on tissue paper.
The aim of the invention is to provide a press arrangement of the type mentioned, in which such re-wetting is reduced to a minimum and with the correspondingly a significantly higher dry content of the fibrous web is achieved.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that considered in Mantellaufrichtung the length of the spout is greater than about half the length of the press nip and the press cover is guided in pressed against the mating surface Preßschuh by this so that it in the region of the press nip by an amount radially outside the imaginary circular path runs, which corresponds on average about 1 to about 3% of the circular path diameter.
Due to this design it is achieved that the rewet is reduced by a corresponding leadership of the press jacket outside the press nip to a minimum, which brings correspondingly a much higher dry content of the fibrous web with it. After the press shoe is provided with a longer spout and is pushed out relatively far in the operating position from the undeformed Preßmantelkontur, the press cover is in operation in the region of the end of the spout and thus closes the outlet area airtight. As a back ventilation of this area is thus excluded, the press cover must follow exactly the outlet contour, whereby an immediate separation of felt and fibrous web is effected outside of the press nip.
In a preferred embodiment of the press arrangement according to the invention, the length of the outlet is greater than approximately three quarters of the length of the press nip, preferably greater than or equal to the length of the press nip, as viewed in the machine direction.
It is advantageous if the press cover is guided in pressed against the mating surface Preßschuh by this so that it extends in the region of the press nip by an amount radially outside of the imaginary circular path, which averages about 1.5 to about 2, 5% and in particular about 2% of the circular path diameter corresponds.
The outlet may have a substantially flat, the press jacket facing surface.
It is advantageous if the preferably substantially flat, the Preßmantel facing surface of the outlet with the pressing gap on the side facing the Preßmantel, the press nip defining the pressing surface of the press shoe applied tangent forms an angle in the range of about 18 °.
The contour of the press jacket facing, the press nip defining pressing surface of the press shoe is suitably adapted to the contour of the mating surface.
The mating surface may be formed for example by a counter-roller. In particular, in this case, the pressing jacket facing, the press nip defining pressing surface of the press shoe thus have a generally concave contour.
In an expedient practical embodiment of the outlet is bent at its free end generally radially inward. In this case, the press cover in the preferably rounded transition region to the generally radially inwardly bent end of the outlet at this rest.

The press shoe is provided with a longer spout and further pushed out in the operating position of the undeformed shell contour, as is the case in the previous versions.
