Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for squeezing liquid from cleaning devices, especially cleaning textiles, cleaning sponges, wet wipes or mops, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such pressing devices or presses are used, for example, in the commercial sector, used in hospitals or hotels for cleaning. They serve cleaning equipment like a mop clamped on a holder after a wet cleaning or squeeze out wet wipe to free them of cleaning fluid.
- the cleaning device is placed between the pressing surfaces of the pressing bodies (pressing plates) brought.
- an actuating lever and generally a power transmission shaft (Pressure wave) the compacts are then moved towards each other, so that the cleaning device soaked with cleaning fluid between the pressing surfaces is pressed together and the cleaning liquid is pressed out.
- Press body exist usually made of plastic or metal.
- the lower press plate is perforated so that the cleaning liquid get into a collecting container underneath and can be used several times if necessary.
- Such a press with translation device is known from EP 0 734 680 A1 .
- the press shown there also has a drive shaft.
- the operating lever is connected to the drive shaft.
- a gearbox which can be designed, for example, as a laterally arranged toggle lever gearbox, transmits the rotary movement of the drive shaft to the pressure shaft.
- the pressure wave then brings the pressure plate and the counter-pressure plate closer together.
- the reduction gear known from EP 0 734 680 A1 works with a variable reduction ratio in such a way that when the drive shaft is actuated uniformly, the pressure plate initially approaches the counter-pressure plate quickly.
- a device for pressing out wet wiping covers is known with a housing which has two side cheeks, between which a horizontal shaft extends, and a water-permeable base plate and at least one press plate and one actuating lever. At least one arm is articulated on the press plate and is connected to the horizontal shaft. The press plate can be lowered onto the base plate or raised from the base plate. The actuating lever is operatively connected to the horizontal shaft via a swivel gear and is pivotally mounted at one end on one of the side cheeks.
- the swivel joint as a transmission device is designed in the manner of a toggle lever transmission, in that a transmission link connected to the confirmation lever and a second transmission link connected to the horizontal shaft in a rotationally fixed manner are articulated via a coupling link and the transmission link connected to the actuation lever and the coupling link when the pressure plate is lowered have an angle of Include 180 °.
- a particularly large contact pressure can be achieved without having to exert a large force on the actuating lever.
- a press for pressing out cleaning textiles with a housing with two side cheeks and a press basket located in between for receiving the cleaning textiles to be pressed out. Press jaws can be moved into the press basket via a movement mechanism, which then act on and squeeze out the cleaning textiles.
- the movement mechanism for power transmission of the drive movement from a drive lever (actuating lever) to the press jaws takes place by means of cams with bridge parts which can be acted upon by their control cams and are connected to both press jaws. This eccentric power transmission allows relatively high forces to be transmitted with little wear.
- the translation devices can be used achieve greater squeezing forces with the same operating force on the operating lever and thus improve the squeezing result. Nevertheless, the mechanical translation devices quite complex and expensive.
- EP 0 823 235 A2 discloses a liquid squeezing device for floor towels and wet wipes with a first actuating plate, which carries the liquid strongly compared to the absorbency of the floor towels, absorbent or absorbent material and with a second actuating plate for pressing the towels against the absorbent material.
- Sponges are provided as the absorbent material and are arranged in particular on both sides of the contact surface of the cloths, that is to say on both actuating plates.
- the absorbent materials can in particular be viscose sponges and be built up in layers. The thickness of the absorbent materials is between 30 mm and 60 mm.
- the object of the present invention is therefore to provide a device for Squeeze liquid from cleaning equipment to create with simple and inexpensive means an improved squeezing is possible.
- liquid-receiving means on at least one of the pressing surfaces (Liquid absorption means, liquid storage means) to be provided, the liquid when pressed onto the cleaning device soaked with liquid pull out the cleaning device.
- the liquid suction or -Acceptor can significantly more liquid from the cleaning device, with the same Extraction pressure, removed than in the known presses, in which immediately the pressing surfaces made of plastic or metal rest on the cleaning device.
- the the Efficiency of squeezing effect by the liquid absorbent is similar like picking up ink using blotting paper and is usually based on osmotic and / or diffusion processes.
- the liquid absorbents are preferably insensitive to sodium hydroxide solutions (NaOH in aqueous solution) and / or potassium hydroxide solution (KOH in aqueous solution) and / or phosphoric acid (H 3 PO 4 in aqueous solution) and / or Hydrochloric acid (HCl), at least up to a predetermined concentration of these alkalis or acids.
- the sponge or the sponge-like structure has in a preferred embodiment a pore size of 10 ⁇ m to 100 ⁇ m that is no longer recognizable to the eye on.
- liquid absorption means are designed to be elastic so that they between the pressing surfaces can be compressed and the one taken from the inside Liquid can be released again.
- Preferred sponge materials are natural sponges with an appropriately selected one Pore size or synthetic sponges with a suitably manufactured pore size, for example viscose sponges or other polymer sponges such as plastic sponges.
- Another material for the liquid absorbents is a microfiber fabric suitable, which also has a high liquid absorption capacity.
- An at least approximately parallel design of the liquid suction means is advantageous to the press surfaces to achieve an even pressure distribution.
- the Liquid absorbents can also have a varying distance between the Press surfaces can be adjusted.
- the pressing bodies are via an actuating lever movable towards or away from each other, the actuating lever preferably via the power transmission device with at least one of the Press body is in operative connection.
- the power transmission device preferably comprises a force transmission device, so that a larger on the press surfaces Force is reached when the operating lever is used.
- FIG. 1 and 2 is an embodiment of the press according to the invention in different Operating positions shown.
- the press comprises a box-like frame 13, which is delimited by two side parts 11, 12.
- a pressure shaft 16 is rotatably mounted in the side parts 11, 12 of the box-like Frame 13.
- an actuating lever 23 can be connected, by means of which the pressure shaft 16 rotates can be moved.
- the link plates 17, 18 extend starting from the pressure shaft 16 in the radial direction and each have a guide slot 19 with a certain intended course.
- first press body 14 in movable and a counter pressure plate (second Press body) 15 arranged in a fixed position.
- the pressure plate 14 is through a central Incision 45 divided into two pressure plate parts 14 'and 14 "below the Incisions 45 are connected to each other via a web, but in a not shown Embodiment can also be completely separate from each other.
- the mutually facing and / or movable pressing surfaces are on the Counter pressure plate 15 with 35 and on the two pressure plate parts 14 'and 14 "with 44' or 44 ".
- the pressure plate 14 or the pressure plate parts 14 'and 14 "on the one hand and the counter pressure plate 15 on the other hand can be in their relative position to each other when the Pressure wave 16 can be changed via the actuating lever 23 in such a way that in the closed Position the pressing surfaces 14 'and 44' of the pressure plate 14 and the pressing surface 35 of the pressure plate 15 are spaced apart by a gap, but essentially run parallel to each other and that in a fully open position between Pressure plates 14 and pressure plate 15 forms a receiving opening 21, which comfortable insertion of a cleaning device allowed.
- Sponge layers 2 and 3 consist of a, preferably large-pored, sponge or spongy material, that is stable to cleaning fluids, especially alkalis such as potassium or sodium hydroxide solutions or acids such as phosphoric acid or hydrochloric acid at least in the concentrations used for cleaning purposes.
- alkalis such as potassium or sodium hydroxide solutions or acids
- acids such as phosphoric acid or hydrochloric acid at least in the concentrations used for cleaning purposes.
- the pores in the Sponge layers 2 and 3 are designated 5.
- the sponge layers running essentially parallel to the pressing surfaces 44 'and 44 " 2 and 3 come when the press closes on the in the receiving opening 21 located cleaning device and are pressed against this. So suck the sponge layers 2 and 3 additionally cleaning liquid from the cleaning device out. As the contact pressure increases further, both the cleaning device as well as the sponge layers 2 and 3 freed of residual liquid.
- the squeezed liquid can be provided by the counter pressure plate 15 Openings or perforations 27 flow downward into a not shown Container.
- FIG. 1 the press is shown in the fully open position. Pressure plate 14 and Counter pressure plate 15 are spaced apart from one another at a maximum, pressure plate 14 is simultaneously tilted relative to the counter pressure plate 15, so that the receiving opening 21 is defined in order to be able to accommodate a cleaning device to be pressed out.
- the sponge layers 2 and 3 on the pressure plate 14 are now relaxed, elastic unmolded condition.
- the pin 20 of the bearing plates (32, 33 and 34, 35) are now in one area of the guide slot 19 in which the radial distance from the axis of the pressure wave 16 is particularly small.
- the press is shown in the fully closed position.
- the pressure plate 14 is up to the minimum distance to the counter pressure plate defined by the gap 15 approximated.
- the gap between the pressure plate 14 and the counter pressure plate 15 is filled out by the elastically compressed sponge layers 2 and 3, which thereby - When cleaning devices are removed again - be squeezed out completely.
- the pin 20 of the bearing plates 32, 33 and 34, 35 is located in the radially outermost (related on the axis of the pressure wave 16) area of the guide slot 19 of the link plate 17, 18.
- FIG. 3 shows a sectional view of another press, which is largely the same how the press is constructed according to FIGS 1 and 2 with the difference that a Sponge layer 4 is now arranged on the pressure plate 15 and not on the Pressure plate 14.
- the again with perforations 27 for passage of the squeezed liquid back pressure plate 15 provided below is arranged below the movably Pressure plate 14 arranged.
- the pressure plate 14 has - preferably on both sides - a guide pin 29, which in a slot guide 28 on the associated side part 11, 12 engages.
- the sponge system 4 is preferably continuous over the entire Counter pressure plate 15 is formed so that the largest possible contact surface to the cleaning device is formed.
- the bearing plates 32 and 33 or 34 and 35 of a pair are each spaced apart such that in each case a link plate 17, 18 between two bearing plates 32nd and 33 or 34 and 35 dips.
- the pair of bearing plates 32 and 33 or 34 and 35 each has a pin 20, which in the embodiment shown here the two bearing plates 32 and 33 and through the guide slot 19 in between stored backdrop disc extends.
- the pressure plate 14 is in the guide slot by means of the pins 20 19 of the link plate 17 mounted. As can be seen from the figures, slides the pin 20 of the pressure plate 14 when actuating the pressure shaft 16 in the associated Link plate 17, 18.
- the pressure plate 14 is by means of the bearing plate 32 and 33 or 34 and 35 via the in the Link plate 17, 18 engaging pin 20 connected to the pressure shaft 16.
- the press is in a partially open position.
- the pin 20 therefore rests in one middle section of the guide slot 19 of the link plate 17.
- the guide slot 19 initially runs so that the radial distance of the engaging it Pin 20 of the pressure wave 16 increases or decreases continuously. However, the steady increase or decrease over the course of the guide slot 19 is not uniform. Rather, the link plate 17, 18 defines the selected course of the guide slot 19 a non-linear reduction device.
- the slope of the guide slot is decisive Tangent to be created, based on the drawn through this point Tangent of a circumferential circle around the pressure wave 16.
- Tangent T of the guide slot 29 and the circular arc tangent KT indicated for the position of the pin 20 shown in the pressing area P in FIG 5.
- the guide slot 19 is divided into a pivoting area V and one Pressing area P. Between the swiveling area V and the pressing area P the Guide slot 19 a clearly formed kink K.
- the guide slot 19 thus runs so that the entire approach the pressure plate 14 to the counter pressure plate 15 an optimal transmission ratio is specified.
- the pressure plate 14 initially approaches torque relatively quickly.
- With a spacing of pressure plate 14 and pressure plate 15 of about the strength of a soaked Cleaning device plus the sponge thickness slows down the approach speed clearly, at the same time the pressure that can be generated entirely increases significantly.
- the translation mechanism is not necessary for the function of the press, improved but their properties.
