Abstract

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Saugkopf für Bodenstaubsauger mit einem Gehäuseoberteil (1), einer am Gehäuseoberteil befestigten Gleitsohle (2) mit einem quer zur Arbeitsrichtung sich erstreckenden, von Saugmundkanten (3) begrenzten Saugmund (4) und einer im Gehäuseoberteil vertikal verstellbaren Trägerplatte (5). Die Trägerplatte (5) weist eine Borstenleiste (9) und ein Trag- und Dichtelement (7) mit unterseitiger breiter Polierfläche aus einem weichen textilen Belag auf. Die Borstenleiste (9) ist in Arbeitsrichtung vor dem Saugmund (4) und das als Polierelement ausgebildete Trag- und Dichtelement (7) in Arbeitsrichtung hinter dem Saugmund (4) angeordnet.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Saugkopf für Bodenstaubsauger mit
  • einem Gehäuseoberteil,
  • einer am Gehäuseoberteil befestigten Gleitsohle mit einem quer zur Arbeitsrichtung sich erstreckenden, von Saugmundkanten begrenzten Saugmund und
  • einer im Gehäuseoberteil vertikal verstellbaren Trägerplatte,
    • wobei an der Unterseite der Trägerplatte ein streifenförmiges Trag- und Dichtelement angeordnet ist, das mit einer Stellbewegung der Trägerplatte aus- und einfahrbar ist und beim Saugen auf Glattböden auf dem Boden gleitet. Der Saugkopf weist keine rotierenden Einbauten auf und wird daher auch als statische Staubsaugerdüse bezeichnet.
    Ein Saugkopf des beschriebenen Aufbaus ist beispielsweise aus EP-A-0 125 994 bekannt. Die Trägerplatte ist mit Borstenleisten ausgerüstet, die in Arbeitsrichtung vor und hinter dem Saugmund angeordnet sind. Die Borstenstreifen sind biegesteif ausgebildet und halten beim Saugen auf glatten Böden den Saugmund in einem konstruktiv genau vorgegebenen, definierten Abstand zum Untergrund, um ein Kratzen der Saugmundkanten auf der Bodenfläche zu verhindern, die Schiebekräfte gering zu halten und einen die Saugwirkung bestimmenden engen Arbeitsspalt zwischen den Saugmundkanten und dem Untergrund zu gewährleisten. Neben ihrer Funktion als Tragelemente sind sie zugleich Dichtelemente, die den Bereich unter der Düse, insbesondere den Saugmundbereich, gegen unkontrollierten Luftzutritt abschotten und sicherstellen, dass sich im Bereich des Saugmundes ein ausreichender Saugunterdruck einstellen kann und an den Arbeitskanten des Saugmundes eine hohe, saugwirksame Luftgeschwindigkeit erzeugt wird.
    Es ist ferner bekannt, an der vertikal verstellbaren Trägerplatte eine vordere Borstenleiste sowie eine hintere flexible Gummilippe anzuordnen. Beim Saugen von Glattböden ist der Saugkopf an der vorderen Borstenleiste und einer rückwärtigen Laufrolle abgestützt. Die Gummilippe gleitet auf dem Boden und schottet den Bereich hinter dem Saugmund gegen unkontrollierten Luftzutritt ab.
    Ein Saugkopf des eingangs beschriebenen Aufbaus ermöglicht eine gute Staubaufnahme sowohl bei glatten Bodenbelägen als auch bei textilen Bodenbelägen. Gleichwohl wirkt ein glatter Hochglanzboden nach der Saugreinigung häufig etwas stumpf. Ferner können die Borstenstreifen und/oder Gummilippen auf empfindlichen Böden Streifen hinterlassen.
    Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Saugkopf des eingangs beschriebenen Aufbaus so weiter auszubilden, dass auf glatten, glänzenden Böden ein besseres Reinigungsergebnis erzielbar ist.
    Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe lehrt die Erfindung, dass die Trägerplatte eine Borstenleiste und ein Trag- und Dichtelement mit unterseitiger breiter Polierfläche aus einem weichen textilen Belag aufweist, wobei die Borstenleiste in Arbeitsrichtung vor dem Saugmund und das als Polierelement ausgebildete Trag- und Dichtelement in Arbeitsrichtung hinter dem Saugmund angeordnet ist. Geeignet ist vornehmlich ein Belag aus Filz, Plüschgewebe oder einem verdichteten Vliesstoff.
    Das an der Unterseite der Trägerplatte angeordnete erfindungsgemäße Element erfüllt mehrere Funktionen. Es nimmt die Normalkraft auf, die während des Saugvorganges von dem Benutzer sowie durch den Saugunterdruck auf das Gehäuseoberteil ausgeübt wird, und hält den Saugmund in einem vorgegebenen Abstand zum Boden. Es wirkt ferner als Dichtelement, das eine unkontrollierte Luftzufuhr insbesondere von hinten verhindert und damit den nötigen Saugunterdruck aufrechterhält. Schließlich ist es als Polierelement ausgelegt, welches den Glanz hochglänzender Böden auffrischt und Streifenbildungen, z.B. durch Gummiabrieb, mindert. In der Funktionsstellung "Trag- und Dichtelement eingefahren" hat das Element keinen Bodenkontakt, so dass sich die Schiebekraft des Saugkopfes beim Saugen auf textilen Böden nicht verändert und auch die Saugeigenschaften des Saugkopfes auf textilem Boden unverändert bleiben.
    Zweckmäßig erstreckt sich die Polierfläche in der Draufsicht zwischen einem keilförmig vorstehenden Abschnitt der Gleitsohle, welche die hintere Arbeitskante des Saugmundes darstellt, und dem Gehäuseoberteil.
    In der Funktionsstellung "Trag- und Dichtelement ausgefahren" liegt die Polierfläche flächig auf dem zu reinigenden Boden auf. An dem in Arbeitsrichtung vorderen Ende des Saugkopfes ist das Gehäuseoberteil ebenfalls abgestützt, denn die Trägerplatte weist sowohl eine Borstenleiste als auch ein Trag- und Dichtelement mit breiter Polierfläche auf. Anstelle einer Abstützung an einer Borstenleiste ist auch eine Abstützung an einer vorderseitigen Rolle möglich.
    Im Folgenden wird die Erfindung anhand einer lediglich ein Ausführungsbeispiel darstellenden Zeichnung erläutert. Es zeigen schematisch

    Der in den Figuren dargestellte Saugkopf besteht in seinem grundsätzlichen Aufbau aus einem Gehäuseoberteil 1, einer am Gehäuseoberteil 1 befestigten Gleitsohle 2 mit einem quer zur Arbeitsrichtung sich erstreckenden, von Saugmundkanten 3 begrenzten Saugmund 4 und einer im Gehäuseoberteil 1 angeordneten Trägerplatte 5, die mittels eines Schalthebels 6 vertikal verstellbar ist und je nach Schalterstellung eine untere Funktionsstellung und eine obere Funktionsstellung einnimmt. An der Unterseite der Trägerplatte 5 ist ein streifenförmiges Trag- und Dichtelement 7 angeordnet, das mit einer Stellbewegung der Trägerplatte 5 aus-und einfahrbar ist und beim Saugen auf Glattböden auf dem Boden gleitet. Das Trag- und Dichtelement 7 ist in Arbeitsrichtung hinter dem Saugmund 4 angeordnet und ist unterseitig als breite Polierfläche ausgebildet, die einen weichen, textilen Belag 8 aus Filz, Plüschgewebe oder einem verdichtetem Vliesstoff aufweist. Die Polierfläche 8 erstreckt sich über die gesamte Breite des Saugkopfes und nimmt in der Funktionsstellung "Trag- und Dichtelement ausgefahren" die auf den Saugkopf ausgeübte Normalkraft auf. Das als Polierelement ausgebildete Trag- und Dichtelement 7 bestimmt zusammen mit einer Borstenleiste 9, die in Arbeitsrichtung vor dem Saugmund 4 angeordnet und ebenfalls an der Unterseite der Trägerplatte 5 befestigt ist, den Bodenabstand des Saugmundes 4 beim Saugen eines Glattbodens. In der Funktionsstellung "Trag- und Dichtelement eingefahren" hat die Polierfläche 8 keinen Bodenkontakt, so dass sich die Schiebekraft des Saugkopfes auf textilem Bodenbelag nicht erhöht.
    Im Ausführungsbeispiel erstreckt sich die Polierfläche in der Draufsicht zwischen einem keilförmig vorstehenden Abschnitt der Gleitsohle 2, der mit der hinteren Saugmundkante 3 abschließt, und dem Gehäuseoberteil (Fig. 2).
    Der die Polierfläche bildende textile Belag 8 ist auf einem Träger durch Kleben, durch eine Klemmverbindung oder durch eine Steckverbindung befestigbar. Material, Struktur und Oberflächenhärte des Belages 8 sind so abgestimmt, dass einerseits eine gute Polierwirkung bei hin- und hergehender Arbeitsbewegung des Saugkopfes gewährleistet ist und andererseits eine ausreichende Verschleißfestigkeit gegeben ist.

    Claims (3)

    1. Saugkopf für Bodenstaubsauger mit
      einem Gehäuseoberteil (1),
      einer am Gehäuseoberteil (1) befestigten Gleitsohle (2) mit einem quer zur Arbeitsrichtung sich erstreckenden, von Saugmundkanten (3) begrenzten Saugmund (5) und
      einer im Gehäuseoberteil (1) vertikal verstellbaren Trägerplatte (5),
      wobei an der Unterseite der Trägerplatte (5) ein streifenförmiges Trag- und Dichtelement (7) angeordnet ist, das mit einer Stellbewegung der Trägerplatte (5) aus- und einfahrbar ist und beim Saugen auf Glattböden auf dem Boden gleitet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Trägerplatte (5) eine Borstenleiste (9) und ein Trag- und Dichtelement (7) mit unterseitiger, breiter Polierfläche (8) aus einem weichen textilen Belag aufweist, wobei die Borstenleiste (9) in Arbeitsrichtung vor dem Saugmund (4) und das als Polierelement ausgebildete Trag- und Dichtelement (7) in Arbeitsrichtung hinter dem Saugmund (4) angeordnet ist.
    2. Saugkopf nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Trag- und Dichtelement (7) einen Belag (8) aus Filz, Plüschgewebe oder einem verdichteten Vliesstoff aufweist.
    3. Saugkopf nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Polierfläche des in Arbeitsrichtung hinter dem Saugmund (4) angeordneten Trag- und Dichtelementes (7) sich in einer Draufsicht zwischen einem keilförmig vorstehenden Abschnitt der Gleitsohle (2) und dem Gehäuseoberteil (1) erstreckt.
