- A device according to the preceding claim, characterized by the fact that said groove or cavity is of varying height.
- A device according to any preceding claim, characterized by the fact that only one orifice opens out into said groove or cavity.
- A device according to any preceding claim, characterized by the fact that the width of the opening through which said groove or cavity opens out into the applicator surface is large enough to enable the surface of the lips or of the skin to come into contact at the time of application with the substance contained inside said groove or cavity.
- A device according to the preceding claim, characterized by the fact that any two opposite edges of said groove or cavity level with the applicator surface are spaced apart by a distance of more than 1 mm.
- A device according to any preceding claim, characterized by the fact that the applicator surface has no portions in relief such as points.
- A device according to any preceding claim, characterized by the fact that the groove or cavity is made at least in part by one or more openings in the second part.

- A device according to any preceding claim, characterized by the fact that the first part has a non-flocked annular outer skirt.
- A device according to any preceding claims, characterized by the fact that the second part includes a grid (15) or is constituted by a grid.
- A device according to any preceding claim, characterized by the fact that the second part includes an annular groove (25) or a cavity extending around a closed curve.
- A device according to the immediately preceding claim, characterized by the fact that said groove or cavity does not present any narrowing in its section where it opens out to the outside, thereby enabling the surface of the skin or the lips to penetrate more deeply into the inside of said groove or cavity so as to extract substance therefrom, where appropriate.
- A device according to any preceding claim, characterized by the fact that the second part (42) is of varying height so as to define a chamfered applicator surface and create a preferred path for the substance.
- A device according to any preceding claim, characterized by the fact that the second part includes an element (54) co-operating with the first part to form a check valve suitable for being moved under the effect of pressure in the substance.
- A device according to any preceding claim, characterized by the fact that the first part includes a central portion forming a jet-deflector, situated in or facing a substance feed passage.
- A device according to any preceding claim, characterized by the fact that the second part includes a jet-deflector portion situated facing a substance feed passage.
- A device according to any preceding claim, characterized by the fact that the second part is fixed in leakproof manner on the first part.
- A device according to any preceding claim, characterized by the fact that the second part is made of a material that is different from used for making the first part.
- A device according to any preceding claim, characterized by the fact that the applicator surface comprises a chamfered surface and a side surface extending around the chamfered surface, said chamfered and side surfaces both being flocked.
- A device according to any preceding claim, characterized by the fact that the reservoir is formed by a body (18) integral with one of the parts (14) of the endpiece.
- A device according to any preceding claim, characterized by the fact that it includes a piston (20) for exerting pressure on the substance contained in the reservoir in order to dispense it.
- A device according to any one of claims 1 to 27, characterized by the fact that it includes a compressible wall enabling the substance to be dispensed by exerting pressure thereon, e.g. by a user exerting pressure.
- A device according to any one of claims 1 to 27, characterized by the fact that it includes a pump.
- A device according to claim 30, characterized by the fact that the reservoir can be moved relative to the remainder of the device so as to actuate the pump and dispense a quantity of substance.
- A device according to any one of claims 1 to 31, characterized by the fact that the reservoir is removable and constitutes a refill.
- A device according to any preceding claim, characterized by the fact that it includes a closure cap having at least one internal shutter element suitable for covering the substance outlet orifice(s) when it is in place on the endpiece.
- A device according to claim 1, the applicator surface being flocked at least in part, the coating of flocking being performed without the orifice being pierced after flocking and without inserting an insert in said orifice during flocking.
