Abstract
Description
Leuchte lamp
The invention relates to a luminaire with a flat, elongated luminaire housing and at least one longitudinal fluorescent lamp, from which a first light distribution device extends laterally, at which light emerges downwards.
In a known luminaire of the type mentioned, the light distribution device consists of a plate-shaped light guide which extends between two fluorescent lamps arranged on the outside, so that its lateral end faces lie opposite the fluorescent lamps. At these end faces, light is coupled into the light guide, which is reflected inside the light guide at the top and bottom thereof. By applying a microprism structure to the underside of the plate-shaped light guide, the light is coupled out of it and directed downward with a directed and glare-free distribution.
Because of the fluorescent lamps arranged to the side of the light distribution device, they cannot be viewed directly from below. In addition to glare control of the fluorescent lamp even at shallow angles, the known luminaire also has a reduced luminance even at steep angles when the luminaire is viewed directly from below. This is intended to enable the use of such a luminaire, in particular in the case of flat reflection surfaces, such as, for example, flat screens. Despite its reduction, the luminance below the luminaire is still relatively high, so that disturbing reflections on flat surfaces cannot be ruled out. Another disadvantage of the known luminaire is the low efficiency of the known luminaire, since only part of the light emitted by the fluorescent lamps is coupled into the light guide. A considerable amount of light is lost for illuminating the usable area.
The object of the present invention is to develop a luminaire of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that the light is emitted onto the usable area with improved efficiency and undesired light boundaries are avoided.
The object is achieved according to the invention in that, in the luminaire mentioned at the outset, the first light distribution device has a hollow chamber extending transversely to the longitudinal direction, the underside of which is formed by at least one plate-shaped light distribution element, at which light emerges downwards through a housing opening, and a second light distribution device is provided below the fluorescent lamp, with which light is directed downward through a housing opening with a directed and glare-free distribution.
Due to the combination according to the invention of the two light distribution devices, the second of which is arranged directly below the fluorescent lamp or lamps, light with an anti-glare distribution and directed at least below the fluorescent lamp or lamps is directed efficiently onto the usable area. At the same time, direct light radiation is avoided, so that no disturbing reflections and light limits occur. The lamp is therefore particularly suitable for VDU workstations.
In a preferred embodiment, the light distribution element forming the underside of the first light distribution device is designed in such a way that the light emitted into the hollow chamber emerges diffusely through the plate-shaped light distribution element. In an advantageous further development of the invention, the first light distribution device has on both sides of the fluorescent lamp or a plurality of adjacent fluorescent lamps a hollow chamber which extends transversely to the longitudinal direction and has at least one light distribution element. In this embodiment, the fluorescent lamps are arranged approximately centrally with respect to the horizontal extension of the lamp housing, a hollow chamber extending laterally from the lamp or lamps and the second light distribution device centrally with respect to the lamp housing below the lamp or lamps is arranged.
The luminaire housing is expediently open at the top in the region of the first and / or second light distribution device, so that when the luminaire is used as a pendant luminaire light is radiated against the ceiling and indirectly directed onto the usable area.
For this purpose, the top of the hollow chamber or chambers can also be formed by at least one plate-shaped light distribution element, at which light emerges upwards through a housing opening.
To generate diffuse light scattering, the light distribution element can have a geometric scattering structure.
For this purpose, the light distribution element can be provided on its underside with a suitable scattering structure, for example a groove or prism structure, so that the light can spread diffusely. On the other hand, it can also be designed as a profile structure with a large number of refractive surfaces through which the light is also diffusely scattered.
A plastic plate with a plurality of hollow chambers running in the longitudinal direction has been found to be particularly advantageous for use as a light distribution element. On the other hand, the light distribution element can consist of a scatterable material, for example in the form of a plate, or can be coated with a scatterable material.
In a preferred development of the invention, the second light distribution device, as a known system, is produced from a luminaire grid made up of longitudinally extending reflectors and transversely running reflective lamellae. In addition, any system can be considered with which light can be directed downwards with a specifically directed and glare-free distribution.
For example, the second light distribution device can also have a suitable groove or prism structure that generates a directed and glare-free light distribution.
The second light distribution device can furthermore have an essentially horizontally arranged light guide plate which is provided with a plurality of openings and is directly adjacent to the fluorescent lamp or the fluorescent lamps. With the help of the light guide plate, the luminance below the second light distribution device is reduced, so that light can still be directed efficiently and optimally without reflection onto the usable area.
Two embodiments of the invention are described below with reference to the drawing.
In der Zeichnung zeigen:The drawing shows:
Fig. 1 eine Ansicht von unten eines ersten Ausführungsbeispiels ,1 is a bottom view of a first embodiment,
Fig. 2 einen Schnitt durch die in Fig. 1 gezeigte Leuchte längs der Linie II-II undFig. 2 shows a section through the lamp shown in Fig. 1 along the line II-II and
Fig. 3 shows a section corresponding to FIG. 2 through another embodiment of a lamp. As can best be seen from FIGS. 2 and 3, the luminaires have a flat, elongated luminaire housing 1 and two longitudinal fluorescent lamps 2, from which a first light distribution device 3 extends to the side, at which the light emerges downwards .
The first light distribution device 3 consists of two hollow chambers 4 and 5 extending transversely to the longitudinal direction on both sides of the fluorescent lamps 2, the underside of which is formed by a plate-shaped light distribution element 6 and 7, respectively. At the light distribution elements 6 and 7, light emerges downwards through a housing opening 8 and 9, respectively.
A second light distribution device 10 is provided below the fluorescent lamps 2, with which light is directed downward through a housing opening 11 with a specifically directed and glare-free distribution.
The upper sides of the chambers 4 and 5 are likewise formed by plate-shaped light distribution elements 12 and 13, respectively, on which light emerges upwards through a housing opening 14. The luminaire shown is used as a pendant luminaire, which indirectly directs light onto the usable surface via reflection from the ceiling.
The light distribution elements 6, 7 and 12, 13 are formed from plastic plates with a plurality of hollow chambers running in the longitudinal direction, as are commercially available. The light emitted into the hollow chambers 4 and 5 is scattered on the surfaces of the hollow chamber system of the plastic plates and diffusely directed in all directions, in particular also in flat angular ranges with respect to the horizontal.
As can further be seen from FIGS. 2 and 3, the light distribution elements 6, 7 and 12, 13 are inserted into longitudinal profiles 15 which are open on the inside and which are formed on the luminaire housing 1 at the edge of the housing openings 8, 9 and 14. As is also shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the second light distribution device 10 has a luminaire grid made up of longitudinally extending reflectors 16 and transversely running reflective slats 17. The luminaire grid is suspended in a downwardly projecting housing part of the luminaire housing 1 with the aid of spring clips 18 which can be pivoted laterally.
Fig. 1 shows the lamp described above from below. In the middle of the flat and elongated luminaire housing 1, the second light distribution device 10 extends in the longitudinal direction, which is designed as a luminaire grid with longitudinal reflectors 16 and transverse reflecting slats 17. The spaces between the lamellae 17 are covered by the visor parts 19 shown in FIG. 1, so that a direct view of the fluorescent lamps from below is avoided.
On both sides of the luminaire grid, the first light distribution device with the light distribution elements 6 and 7, which is designed as a hollow chamber, extends in flat housing areas. The luminaire shown thus combines a broad light emission that extends over the entire length of the luminaire, in particular light that is diffusely scattered at flat angles Proven luminaire grid through which light is directed onto the usable area with targeted, glare-free distribution.
In order to reduce the luminance generated by the luminaire grid, an essentially horizontally arranged light guide plate 20, provided with a plurality of openings, is provided between the fluorescent lamps 2 and the luminaire grid in the embodiment shown in FIG. 3.
The walls of the luminaire housing 1 consist of profile parts which are manufactured, for example, by extrusion and have a constant cross section over the entire length. The box-shaped flat lamp housing 1 is arranged between two hollow profile rods 21 and 22 which serve as a carrying device for the lamp. The profile rods 21 and 22 are enclosed by connecting elements 23 and 24 arranged on the longitudinal end faces of the lamp housing 1, which have the same height as the lamp housing 1 and can contain the operating devices necessary for the operation of the lamp. The lamp housing 1 is fastened on the end face to the connecting elements 23 with the aid of longitudinally extending profile grooves 25, in which the threaded shafts engage in screws, not shown in the drawing.
The connecting elements 23 and 24 can have fastening devices for hanging the lamp on a ceiling.
