Insgesamt sind vier Kochfelder 3 vorgesehen, die über nicht gezeigte, unterhalb der Kochfeldplatte 2 befindliche Heizeinrichtungen beheizt werden können. Ferner ist ein Anzeige- und/oder Bedientableau 4 vorgesehen, an dem dem Benutzer Informationen in Form von Leuchtanzeigen 5 visualisiert werden können, oder die dem Benutzer die Betätigung einzelner Bedienfunktionen ermöglichen, wozu entsprechende Betätigungsflächen 6 vorgesehen sind. Zur Anzeige sowie zur Erfassung einer etwaigen Betätigung ist an der Unterseite der Kochfeldplatte 2 unterhalb des Anzeige- und/oder Bedientableaus 4 eine Anzeige- und/oder Betätigungseinrichtung 7 angeordnet. Diese umfasst eine Trägerplatine 8, an deren Oberseite mehrere Anzeigeelemente 9, hier in Form von Sieben-Segment-Anzeigen, sowie mehrere Betätigungselemente 10 in Form von Berührungssensoren bestückt sind. Die Lage der Anzeigeelemente 9 bzw. der Berührungssensoren 10 ist derart gewählt, dass sie im montierten Zustand mit den entsprechenden Feldern an der Kochfeldplatte 2, die oberseitig aufgedruckt sind, korrespondieren. Die Anzeigeelemente 9 und die Betätigungselemente 10 sind über nicht gezeigte Leitungsverbindungen mit entsprechenden Steuerelementen einer Steuerungsvorrichtung verbunden, die ggf. direkt an der gegenüberliegenden Platinenseite angeordnet sein kann. Zur Montage der Anzeige- und/oder Betätigungseinheit 7 wird diese zunächst mit ihrem einen Ende unter die ersten beiden Vorsprünge 19 geschoben, so dass die gewinkelte Hinterschneidung 23 eines jeden Vorsprungs 19 die Trägerplatine 8 an einem Randbereich übergreift. Beachtlich ist ferner, dass der aus Kunststoff gefertigte Halterahmen ein sehr einfach gehaltenes wie auch herzustellendes Bauteil ist, das als einfaches Kunststoffspritzteil kostengünstig zu produzieren ist und das in seiner Montage durch einfaches Verkleben ebenfalls sehr einfach ist. Es ist ferner von der Gesamtbauhöhe her sehr niedrig gehalten, so dass im Bereich der Plattenunterseite für die Aufnahme des Halterahmens nur wenig Platz benötigt wird. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist insbesondere bei der Rast- oder Schnappbefestigung dass keinerlei zusätzliche Befestigungselemente benötigt sind.
