- A device for a spring-operated control mechanism for electrical power equipment, in particular for medium or high voltage, in which at least one switching module (1') is switched from one position to another through the intermediary of an engaging-disengaging arrangement incorporating a main operating shaft (3') on which control levers are fixed enabling the shaft to be driven in rotation through the action of a cam (4') in a first specified direction from a first position in which the module is in a first state to a second position in which the module is brought into a second state against a return spring able to rotate the main shaft in the opposite direction to return the module from the second state to the first state, the said engaging/disengaging arrangement also comprising an overtravel limit damper acting during return of the shaft to the first position through the action of the return spring, characterised in that the said device is composed of a return and damping subassembly comprising a damper (37) and a return spring (36) mounted coaxially between two hinge pivots of which one (24) can be attached to a fixed point and of which the other (34) can be attached to the extremity of one of the levers (26) carried by the main shaft, the bore (27) of the damper (37) is hinged on the first of the pivots and the piston rod (25) of that damper is hinged on the second of the pivots and the spring is integral with the bore of the damper at a first extremity and with the hinged extremity of the piston rod at a second extremity and surrounds the said bore.
- A device according to claim 1, in which the piston rod is threaded at one extremity to receive a tension adjusting arrangement for the return spring which it passes through in such a way that the position of that arrangement on a part of the length of the rod and the prestress imposed on the spring can be altered.
- A device according to either of claims 1 or 2, in which is provided an arrangement for adjustment of the stress applied to the return spring comprising an adjustment sleeve (31) screwed to the piston rod and provided at one extremity of a supporting collar (38) housed within the spring and a plug (30) for securing the extremity of the spring threaded onto the sleeve and abutting against the supporting collar through the tensile force of the spring.
- A device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, in which the piston rod is hinged on a pivot (34) carried by a lever (26) attached to the main shaft.
- A device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, in which the piston rod (24) is hinged by means of a clevis mounting (32) on a pivot (34) of a lever (26) laterally attached to the main shaft, this clevis mounting being attached to the extremity of the rod beyond the return spring (36).
- A control mechanism for electrical power equipment, in particular for medium or high voltage, in which at least one switching module (1') is switched from one position to another through the intermediary of an engaging/disengaging arrangement including an operating shaft (3') on which are fixed control levers enabling the shaft to be driven in rotation in a first direction, the said rotation taking place from a first position in which the module is in a first state to a second position in which the module is brought into a second state against a return spring capable of turning the main shaft in the opposite direction to return the module from the second state to the first state, the said arrangement furthermore comprising an overtravel limit damper acting when the shaft returns to the first position through the action of the return spring, the said engaging/disengaging arrangement comprising a lever (26) attached to the main shaft, carrying an end pivot (34) about which a device comprising a return and damping sub-assembly including a damper (37) and a return spring (36) coaxially mounted between two hinge pivots, of which one is fixed and the other is the said extremity pivot (34), is hinged, the bore (27) of the damper being hinged to a first of the pivots and the piston rod (25) of that damper being hinged to the second of these pivots, the mechanism being characterised in that the first direction of rotation of the said shaft is determined by the action of a rotary cam (4') pressing on one of the levers (7'), referred to as an engaging/disengaging lever, the said opposite rotation can be carried out after a retaining ratchet (10') retaining that shaft in its second position acting on the engaging/disengaging lever (7') is released under the control of disengaging means (5) when the cam becomes inoperative because of its rotation and its profile, and the return spring is of integral with the bore of the damper at a first extremity and the hinge extremity of the piston rod at a second extremity and surrounds the said bore.
- Control mechanism according to claim 6, characterised in that it comprises a device according to at least one of the preceding device claims.
