Definitions
- the present invention relates to a toothbrush according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the invention further relates to a bristle insert according to claim 16.
- this known toothbrush is the perforated plate pivotally mounted on the brush body.
- the distance between the perforated plate and the brush body is changed.
- This also changes the free length of the user-side ends of the Bristle filaments, that is, the portion of the bristle filaments that contains the perforated plate protrudes, so that by the pivoting movement of the perforated plate relative to the Brush body causes a change in the stiffness of the bristle filaments.
- overtop the bristle filaments overtop the bristle filaments the perforated plate with a relatively large length, so the stiffness and thus the hardness of the brush is low; with a short length it is Rigidity high.
- DE-A-39 28 919 describes a massage device with a cup-shaped design Base body and one in engagement, also pot-shaped trained base part known.
- the base part has recesses through which protrude through a plurality of massage elements designed as bundles of bristles.
- the attachment-side ends of the massage elements are in a holder added, which is in threaded engagement with the base body. By rotation the holder is the distance between the fastening-side ends of the massage elements changed compared to the base part.
- the base part is ring-shaped Edge in a correspondingly formed circumferential annular groove of the base body recorded and locked with the base body.
- the toothbrushes previously known from the prior art have the disadvantage that they do not meet today's hygienic requirements suffice. Between the toothbrush body and the attachment-side end of the Perforated plate is a wedge-shaped slot, in which bacteria and contaminants can fix. In the area of bristle filaments there is also between the perforated plate and the brush body a gap in which there is dirt can fix, so that the toothbrush after a certain period of use makes an unsightly impression.
- the toothbrushes mentioned above also have the disadvantage that the free length of all of the perforated plate protruding Bristle filaments are not uniform due to the pivoting movement of the perforated plate is changed.
- the present invention has for its object an adjustable in its rigidity To create a toothbrush that meets today's hygienic requirements which has an attractive appearance even after a long period of use offers and its rigidity can be adjusted with high accuracy. Furthermore the present task is based on a bristle insert as a replacement and Specify consumable part for the toothbrush according to the invention.
- the present invention specified a toothbrush according to claim 1.
- the brush body is by the perforated plate rotatably held on the brush body to the attachment-side ends of the bristle filaments. These will held in a bristle holder which is in threaded engagement with the brush body is.
- the bristle holder is relative to the brush body rotated so that the bristle carrier relative to the brush body according to the Thread pitch in the axial direction of a bore receiving the bristle carrier emigrated.
- the perforated plate only follows the rotation of the bristle carrier, so that a change in the rigidity of the cleaning elements is brought about without there is an open gap between the perforated plate and the brush body in which pollution can accumulate.
- the bristle carrier changes due to the thread engagement overall its position relative to the perforated plate, so that all on the The length of the cleaning elements held by bristle carriers is changed uniformly become. Accordingly, the stiffness of all of the perforated plates projecting changes Cleaning elements, for example formed by bristle filaments are, in an identical way. Otherwise, the brush according to the invention has the further The advantage is that the desired stiffness due to the rotation of the bristle carrier the bristle filaments can be adjusted precisely.
- the perforated plate is flush with the top of the brush body. This measure is in the area of those Bristles, the stiffness of which can be changed, on the surface of the Toothbrush created a smooth surface.
