Abstract

We have invented a new sole with a pumping action for the part of the shoe near the heel, inside a cylindric pump, connected with channels near the front part of the foot connected to the outside part of the sole, with a valve for the passing of air. Therefore giving life and automatic movement of respiration and compression for the circulation of air for the inner part of the footwear, resolving all problems due to the loss of the circulation of air.

Description

This present invention can be used as a sole for footwear using characteristics that are needed to create a circulation of air inside the shoe, technically activated by a cylindric action of a spring near the back part of the shoe with connecting channels towards the front part of the shoe for the passing of air by holes for air in the compressive phase and a breathing phase of air return therefore retaining an automatic circulation of air.
In the Patent abstracts of Japan, Vol. 1996, N° 02 and in JP-A- 07 250703 it is described a "Footgear ventilating insole" comprising holes preventing air from counter-flowing and provided with intake ports and exhaust ports.
WO-A-89/10073 describes an "Apparatus for ventilating footwear" having an air chamber formed as a part of the sole or inner sole and provided with inlet hole and outlet hole to control the passage of the air to and from the air chamber.
WO-A-96/24267 describes "Shoes excellent in ventilation" providing air inflow holes and air jetting holes.
US-A-4760651 describes an "Air-ventilating shoe pad having shoe-lift effect", which is a fitting for shoes, and provides an air-blowing compression chamber.
It is therefore specific object of the present invention a foot sole provided with a plurality of inlet and/or outlet holes, for the inlet and/or the outlet of air from the upper part of the sole, with a plurality of channels creating a network connecting said holes each other and through which air circulates, a seat, in correspondence of the heel of the foot, housing pumping means, and communicating with at least some of said channels, the compressive action of the heel on the pumping means inducing air to pass through said holes, said pumping means not being provided with any opening for the inlet of the outside air.
Always according to the invention, said pumping means are comprised of a spring.
Still according to the invention, a padding is provided above said seat.
Furthermore, according to the invention, said sole is comprised of porous material, eventually covered by leather.

    • Claims (5)

    1. Foot sole provided with a plurality of inlet and/or outlet holes (1), for the inlet and/or the outlet of air from the upper part of the sole, with a plurality of channels (2) creating a network connecting said holes (1) each other and through which air circulates, a seat, in correspondence of the heel of the foot, housing pumping means (3), and communicating with at least some of said channels (2), the compressive action of the heel on the pumping means (3) inducing air to pass through said holes (1), characterised in that said pumping means not being provided with any opening for the inlet of the outside air.
    2. Foot sole according to claim 1 characterised in that said pumping (3) are comprised of a spring.
    3. Foot sole according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that a padding (6) is provided above said seat.
    4. Foot sole according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that it is comprised of porous material.
    5. Foot sole according to claim 4, characterised in that said material is covered by leather.
