Abstract

Verfahren zur Datenübertragung von und zu CNC-Steuerungen (1) über ein Standardnetzwerk (6) mit TCP/IP Protokoll und einen Leitrechner (7). Die serielle Schnittstelle (2) der CNC-Steuerung sollte am Leitrechner abgebildet und bedient werden können. Durch Bedienung der Maschinensteuerung sollten Bearbeitungsprogramme vom Leitrechner geladen und am Leitrechner abgespeichert werden können.
Die serielle Schnittstelle (2) der CNC-Steuerung (1) wird mit einem Terminalserver (4) oder Computer (5) verbunden welcher serielle Zeichenketten in Netzwerk-Datenpakete konvertiert die von einem Gerätetreiberprogramm (7a) am Leitrechner in Zeichenketten zurückgewandelt und in den Eingangspuffer einer virtuellen Schnittstelle (7b) geschrieben werden. Die Konvertierung ist auch in umgekehrter Richtung möglich. Ein Kommunikationsprogramm (7c) überwacht diese serielle Schnittstelle und schreibt die ankommenden Zeichenketten je nach Inhalt in eine Datei (7d) oder sendet den Inhalt einer fremden Datei (7e) in den Sendepuffer der virtuellen Schnittstelle wodurch die Daten an die serielle Schnittstelle der CNC-Steuerung gesendet werden.
