Abstract

The method involves pre-heating the degassed and high pressure supply water for the steam generator (1) in an independent heating boiler (23) by the exchange of heat with waste air and pre-heating the waste gas and the combustion gas fed to the steam generator by exchanging heat with the pre-heated supply water in external pre-heaters (24,25).
