Definitions
- the invention relates to a system for distributing objects, for a store big surface.
- Objects such as instant tickets, essentially scraping a marked area are currently distributed in large stores surface in two different ways: either by distributors machines placed in the catchment area, either by manual dispensers under the responsibility of the cashiers (US-RE-34915).
- the distributor In the first case, the distributor is not integrated into the sales circuit of the shop.
- the operations costs charged to the cashier result in decrease in outlet flow at checkout.
- An object of the invention is to propose a system for distributing objects which is integrated into the store's sales circuit, which does not cause decrease in the output flow and which does not present a risk of fraud.
- an object distribution system consists essentially of a console control 1, likely to issue, at the customer's choice, a receipt 2 intended to be read by a reading device 3 associated with a box 4, of a interface module 5 and a distributor 6 capable of delivering one or more multiple objects 7.
- the same references designate the same elements as in Figure 1.
- the interface module 5 is not directly connected to the body 4 as in the Figure 1, but it is connected in parallel on the reading device 3.
- a server 8 By elsewhere, between the interface module 5 and the distributor 6 is provided a server 8 because several cash registers 4 and several distributors are planned on the network 6. Finally the server 8 is connected to at least one reader 9 of the receipt 2.
- the control desk 1 placed inside the store, in the catchment area allows the customer to choose one or more objects corresponding to one or more types of objects. Once this choice is made, the control desk 1 issues a receipt 2 carrying the information representative of the customer's choice and a serial number, for example. These information is in directly readable alphanumeric characters or in coded form, for example according to a bar code readable by reading devices 3 of the cases 4 of the store. Receipt 2 can be consisting of a paper support or any other support usable by the magazine, such as memory card, magnetic card, or optical disc, by example. The receipt is kept by the customer who will present it to the checkout at the same time as his other purchases.
- the interface module 5 is directly linked to cash register 4. Each time cash register 4 registers a article code corresponding to an object, the interface module 5 transmits to the distributor 6 an order to distribute an object 7.
- the interface module 5 is connected in parallel on the reading device 3.
- the interface module 5 which will detect the corresponding article codes to objects and transmit them to the server 8 connected on the one hand to all of the interface modules 5 and to all of the distributors 6 of the network.
- the receipt 2 Once that the receipt 2 has been read by the reading device 3, it is returned to the customer as one of his other purchases.
- the customer after paying his shopping at the cash desk, go to the vending machines 6 of network and will present its receipt to a reader 9, which reads receipt 2 and transmits the corresponding information to the server 8 which controls the distribution by the distributor 6 of the corresponding objects and records a acknowledgment to avoid a new distribution of objects on presentation of the same receipt 2.
- the interface module 5 can be connected either to the body 4 or to the reading device 3 of said body 4. In the same way, the interface module 5 can be connected either to a single distributor 6, dedicated to a box 4, i.e. to a network of distributors 6 itself connected to several boxes 4 and placed under control a server 8.
