Abstract

The automobile headlamp has a rear parabolic reflector with a pivoted reflective segment (14) adjacent the reflector edge, which is pivoted about a vertical axis (12) in dependence on the detected steering angle, for deflection of the headlamp beam to allow illumination of the interior of a bend.
