Abstract
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Elektrodenanordnung an einem elektrisch nichtleitenden Unterwasserschiff (4) zur Vermeidung eines biologischen Bewuchses desselben. Hierzu wird unter Verwendung des das Unterschiff (4) umgebenden Wassers als Elektrolyt praktisch die gesamte dem Wasser zugewandte Oberfläche des Unterschiffs (4) als rings um dieses verlaufende flächenhafte Elektrolytzelle gestaltet, deren beiden Elektroden (10,12) zum einen in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft des Wasserspiegels und zum anderen am tiefsten Punkt des Unterschiffs (4) , wie eines Kiels (8), umlaufend angeordnet sind. The invention relates to an electrode arrangement on an electrically nonconductive underwater ship (4) to avoid biological fouling of the same. For this purpose, using the water surrounding the lower ship (4) as the electrolyte, practically the entire surface of the lower ship (4) facing the water is designed as a planar electrolytic cell running around it, the two electrodes (10, 12) of which are in the immediate vicinity of the water level and on the other, at the lowest point of the lower ship (4), such as a keel (8), are arranged circumferentially.
