Abstract

The armrest consists of a lower part (10) and an upper part (20) and is joined to the chair with a carrying element (2, 3, 4). The lower part is provided with a longitudinal slot (14) accommodating a sliding element (15.1) in order to facilitate a back and forwards motion of the armrest. A second sliding element (15.2), held by a latch (18), can move along a slightly bow shaped opening (33) when the armrest is moved to the sides.
