Definitions
- the present invention relates to a body a large number of symmetry axes, which are made up of different usually partially congruent with each other, Partial bodies can be put together, according to the generic term of Claim 1.
- Composable bodies are in many forms known, for example as a toy in the form of smaller Cuboid, which by fasteners in various Put together in various new forms, for example in the form of a new, larger cuboid can be brought.
- assembly games are further assemblable bodies, the parts of which are relatively flat are, and either in different, aesthetically pleasing Shapes can be placed side by side, or which just one or only a few correct ones Species can be composed.
- Such devices are not only suitable as a pastime, but they can, with a suitable printed message, be used as an efficient advertising medium because through their connectivity to encourage many people to do so allow yourself to be playful with this object for a long time deal, making the message to be better received becomes.
- the object that is achieved with the present invention is to have a composite body with a variety of To create axes of symmetry from different ones in the There are usually sub-bodies that are congruent with one another in groups, which only on exactly one or on a few correct types can be put together, and the one above avoids the disadvantages indicated.
- 1a to e are different simple embodiments of the central body represented by a number regular, congruent triangles, quadrilaterals or pentagons are limited. This gives rise to the well-known Platonic Solid tetrahedron 1, cube 2, octahedron 3, dodecahedron 4 and icosahedron 5.
- a ball 26 represents one in FIG. 1f Borderline case. It is also suitable as a central body.
- each of the Platonic solids has a variety of infinitely many different central solids, the boundaries of which consist of symmetrically arranged, regular polygons with different numbers of corners. It is common to all of these central bodies that are created in this way that all of their corners lie on a sphere not shown here.
- These central bodies include two groups, one below the other congruent cover parts 9, for example in the middle crystal 6 a first group of eight cover parts 9 with one equilateral triangle as a base and a second group of six cover parts 9 with a square of the same side length as a base, on which also below is received.
- Fig. 3 shows, in perspective, a partial disassembled body according to the invention with a cube 2 as the central body.
- a cube 2 as the central body.
- the six associated deck parts 9 is one has been removed from the body, which in this Fig. 3 in addition to the now no longer complete body is shown lying.
- the resulting opening gives that A clear view of an area of the central body, so here one of the squares of the cube 2, on side patches the removed cover part 9 and on some side Patches of those still connected to the central body remaining deck parts 9.
- These surfaces can all be matched Texts, figures, logos or patterns etc. printed or otherwise be provided.
- cover part 9 which becomes a central body in the form of a dodecahedron 4 fits. It belongs to a single group of twelve congruent deck parts 9. It is limited by a base area 10 in the shape of a regular pentagon, which essentially covers the surfaces of the dodecad 4th is congruent. This cover part 9 is further limited by a regular pentagon as a surface 11 on the surface one concentric with the dodecahedron second sphere with a larger, but otherwise arbitrary radius, with each of the corners of this pentagon on one of the five rays that begin at the center of the sphere and go through the corresponding corners of the base 10.
- the cover part 9 is further limited through five congruent patches 12 - 16. Zur Surface sections 12, 13 and 14 partially transparent and the whole cover part 9 as Shown hollow body.
- the use of hollow cover parts 9 is but of course also according to the invention for the assemblability of the body, especially the outer Form of meaning.
- Each of these patches is 12-16 bounded by one side of the base 10 through which between the endpoints of this page and the per associated corners of the pentagonal, and by the smaller great circle arc on the second ball through this both corners of the pentagonal.
- the base 10 not as a plane, but as a pentagon through these five corner points on the circumferential sphere of the dodecahedron to design.
- the pentagon the top surface 11 by a flat pentagon through the same five points can be replaced, or it can both cover area 11 and base area 10 are designed as flat regular pentagons be, whereby the cover part 9 has the shape of a pentagonal Truncated pyramid and the patches 12 - 16 get the shape of equilateral trapezoids.
- the device according to the invention contains in this embodiment a group of twelve congruent cover parts 9 of the Type described above and a matching dodecahedron 4 as the central body. Contains at least one of the cover parts 9 Means to complete this cover part 9 first from the to be able to detach the composite body, for example here an eyelet 25 protruding from the surface.
- FIG. 5 is a first embodiment of a connection between the base 10 of the cover part 9 and any one Surface 17 of the dodecahedron 4 is shown.
- Area 17 and the base 10 contain fasteners with which a firm, but easily removable again with little effort Connection between the dodecahedron 4 and the associated one Cover part 9 can be produced.
- the fastening means exist here from a push button 18, which is the focus of the Surface 17 is attached. It is light in this area 17 sunk and is with this, and thus with the dodecahedron 4, firmly connected.
- the base 10 is in the same way the associated counterpart 19 of the push button 18 firmly with the Cover part 19 connected.
- Magnetic forces are also used in a further variant, with which magnetic foils on the base 10 are glued, while on the surfaces 17 also magnetic Foils or simply a layer of a suitable ferromagnetic Material is applied, or vice versa.
- a fourth variant is instead of the push button 18 and the Counterpart 19 a releasable adhesive tape used.
- Each of these central bodies requires the cover parts 9 that match it in shape and number.
- Each of these cover parts 9 has an n- fold axis of symmetry.
- Each of these cover parts 9 can now be divided into n further, not necessarily symmetrical, but still congruent smaller cover parts 23, which then form a new, separate group of cover parts.
- FIG. 1 A first further division has been made in FIG. in which the regular pentagon of the top surface 11 divided into five isosceles, congruent ball thicknesses 20 is.
- FIG. 1 A second division has been made in FIG which is the regular pentagon of the top surface 11 in five Dragon ball quadrangles 21 is divided.
- Fig. 8 is a third division into more general quadrilaterals 22 shown.
- the cover part 9 can be divided into four congruent, right-angled isosceles spherical triangles, into four congruent spherical squares or into four more general spherical quadrilaterals.
- the cover part 9 can be divided into three congruent, isosceles spherical triangles, three congruent spherical dragon quadrangles or three more general spherical quadrilaterals.
- each of these lower parts 23 requires its own fastening means, for example its own push button 18 with the corresponding counterpart 19 on the central body, as is indicated by circles 24 in FIGS. 6-8.
- FIG. 9 shows a fourth further division of the cover part 9 shown in lower parts 23.
- the lower parts 23 contains at least one bulges 27 and the other at least one counter-indentation 28, whereby these lower parts 23 as assembled puzzle pieces are designed.
- the twelve cover parts 9 are composed of suitable combinations of five selected lower parts 29 repective 33. For the whole body total thirty lower parts 29 and thirty lower parts 33 are required.
- the center of the whole body faces of the two lower parts 29, 33 each have the shape of an isosceles trapezoid with base angles of 72 °, the base being the same length as everyone the thigh.
- the first lower part drawn in white in FIG. 10 29 points on one of its legs and in the base each an indentation 31, 32 and one on its other leg Bulge 30 on.
- the second, shown in black in Fig. 10 Lower part 33 has a bulge 34, 36 in each Thighs of the trapezoid and an indentation 35 in the base of the trapeze.
- indentations or bulges The shape of the indentations or bulges is determined by the fact that indentations and bulges 30, 32, 35 and 36 are substantially congruent with each other, as well Indentations and indentations 31 and 34 with each other, and that each of the bulges 30, 34 and 36 in the corresponding associated Indentations 31, 32 and 35 can be inserted.
- the relative positions of the indentations and bulges 30, 36, 32 and 35, 31 and 34 respectively are within the contact distance of the respective trapezoidal sides freely selectable.
- the side surfaces of the lower parts lie 29 and 33 in levels, each of which is also the center of the Whole body included. Will when assembling the bottom pieces 29, 33 with five lower parts 29 according to the settlement 37 started, the whole body can be easily put together.
