Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a sanitary mixing valve a metallic, cast valve body, the one Cold water inlet hole, a hot water inlet hole and has a mixed water outlet opening and in the a cold water path starts from the cold water inlet opening, who at a union of cold and Hot water is merged with a hot water path, starting from the hot water inlet hole.
Such sanitary mixing valves are available in large numbers known. For example, there are thermostatic valves on the market where the association is located of hot and cold water within a thermostat element located in the valve body or screwed in. The water-bearing spaces inside of the valve body are essentially by cast, metallic inner and outer walls of the valve body limited. If so, as is the case with Thermostatic valves are common to the hot water path inside of the valve housing has a considerable length before the combination with the cold water takes place, this can cause the valve housing in such Dimensions on its outer surface warmed that it could cause burns of the user or at least to startle reactions is coming.
The object of the present invention is a sanitary To design the mixing valve of the type mentioned at the outset, that an impermissibly high heating of the valve housing no longer occurs.
This object is achieved in that the warm water path at least for the most part its longitudinal extent one with mixed water flowing through it Space interspersed.
In the present invention lies between the hot water path and the outer wall of the valve housing itself a room through which mixed water flows, which is the hot water path isolated and so overheating of the valve housing avoids. So there are no longer all waterways limited by molded outer walls on the housing. In this way there are burns or startling reactions of the user of the sanitary mixing valve no longer expect.
An advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized is characterized in that the hot water path within the Valve housing at least predominantly from a pipe or Hose made of poorly heat-conducting material is. This leaves due to its poor thermal conductivity a transfer of heat from the hot water to the surrounding mixed water and from there to the valve housing only limited to. The short distances on which that Hot water, e.g. in the area of the hot water inlet opening, still flows through the material of the valve housing itself, suffice for an inadmissibly high heating of the valve housing no longer out.
The pipe or the hose expediently exists made of plastic.
An embodiment of the invention is as follows explained in more detail with reference to the drawing; the only figure shows the axial section through a thermostatic valve housing.

kommuniziert.
