Abstract

Eine Abgassammel- und Reinigungseinrichtung für einen Mehrzylindermotor umfaßt einen als Gußteil ausgeführten Abgaskrümmer (1) und eine motornah angeordnete, an den Abgaskrümmer (1) angeschlossene Abgasreinigungsvorrichtung (5), welche ein Gehäuse (6) und mindestens einen darin gelagerten Abgasreinigungskörper (14) umfaßt. In den Abgaskrümmer (1) ist in seinem auslaßseitigen Endbereich ein als Blechteil ausgeführtes, aus dem Gußteil herausragendes Rohrstück (12) eingegossen. Mit diesem ist ein nachgeschaltetes Segment des Gehäuses (6) der Abgasreinigungsvorrichtung (5) verbunden. Gemäß einem unabhängigen Lösungsgedanken ist mit dem als Gußteil ausgeführten Abgaskrümmer auf entsprechende Weise statt der Abgasreinigungsvorrichtung ein nachgeschaltetes Abgasführungselement (z.B. Wellrohr) verbunden.
