Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a sectional door consisting of individual articulated interconnected panel segments, the individual Panel segments each have a convex on their upper front broad side running cross-section and on its lower front broad side have a concave cross-section, so that as a result of the method of the sectional door along a guideway convex front face corresponds to a concave front face, and hinges to the inside of the sectional door articulated connection on the one hand and on the other hand to limit the gap of the panel segments are arranged to each other, with on the hinge Protective elements are formed on the opening between two angular panel segments in the axial direction close to the hinge hinge axis.
When changing from the closed position to the open position and vice versa pass through the individual panel segments of a sectional door arcuate guideway area, particularly in the arc area an angled position of the individual panel segments to each other he follows. To provide access protection for this section of track between to ensure the panel broad sides, these have in particular convex cross sections on their upper face and concave cross-sections on the lower broad face. One thus acts in an articulated connection of the panel segments convex front face with an underlying concave trained front broadside so that when walking of the arch results in a limiting gap between the broad faces. For the articulated connection of the panel segments are on the inside the gate hinge straps arranged so that the individual sections of the gate are hinged together. Especially in the area where the hinge straps are arranged, if the sectional door through the arcuate area of the guideway to be led. Openings that are also accessible before are secure.
A generic sectional door is from the European patent application 0 326 131 A2 and known from DE 196 00 553 C1. Out the publications are already known, especially for coverage to provide protective elements for the opening area on the hinge straps, wherein the protective elements are molded so that they after stand out from the sectional door surface, and on the lower hinge strap of the hinge are formed. Consequently results when the sectional door is in the curve area of the guideway arrives that the protective elements facing outwards in a row the curved path swings over from the upper articulated panel segment be so that the resulting opening is covered.
A major disadvantage of the known arrangement from the prior art Technology is that the protective elements from the surface of the closed Stand out. It follows that where the hinge straps are attached to the back of the sectional door, one each Row of these protective elements towards the inside of the sectional door protrude. These protective elements not only have a disruptive effect, but also also provide a target for objects standing on the back wall, that can get caught in it when the gate is opened.
It is therefore the object of the invention before the shown state of the Technology here to further develop a sectional door in such a way that it has a flat smooth surface on its inside, and on the other hand, it should be ensured that in particular the Hinges a firm bond with the front broad sides of the panels exhibit.
According to the invention, a partial task is solved in that on the upper one Headband tab, the lower, concave front edge of the panel segment is connected, a protective element in Shape of a quarter circle segment is formed, which in one Slit on the back of the upper convex front face of the articulated panel segment engages. The order of the protective element on the inside of the upper hinge strap brings significant advantages with it, in the form of a quarter circle segment trained protective element in the lowered The door protrudes into the sectional door surface and is therefore invisible is. If the sectional door is moved through the curved guideway, the quarter circle segment swings out of the sectional door surface and thus provides adequate access protection. The shutdown Sectional gate thus has due to the inventive design an inward-facing smooth goal wall surface, the Goal wall surface no longer offers the possibility that unwanted Objects can get caught on the back of the sectional door.
According to an advantageous development of the invention, the circular arc of the quarter circle segment under a game in the convex Cavity of the upper broad face can be swung in. Thus when the sectional door is lowered, access protection is complete from of the sectional door wall thickness. It is more appropriate Way between the hinge axis of the hinge band directly in the gusset the vertical leg of the quarter-circle arc segment and the upper hinge strap tab. The hinge axis the hinge band is thus integrated into the sectional door surface, so that even the hinge axis is not protruding and not is visible.
According to the invention, this solves the second subtask solved that in the area of the hinge straps in the upper convex and of the lower concave front face corresponding to the Convex and concave plastic molded parts adapted to the contour of the panel segment are arranged with screw channels. The integration of Plastic molded parts in the front broadside has a variety of Advantages that can be seen in the fact that, on the one hand, the one Sheet steel shaped panel segment especially in this area is stabilized, the attachment points not only on the molded Sheets are made, but on the embedded plastic molded parts. It also ensures that, in particular, to the Sticking points avoiding the fixed points.
The molded plastic parts are used to hold the sheet metal fastenings cutouts on the inside of the gate, which on the one hand Form seat for the bearing tabs and in the other hand the profiled curved convex or concave front and that the back forming sheet metal. In further training, the sheet metal edges are and folded back in the area of the recess and in the area the recess arranged overlapping. Be in the overlap area by means of the screw connection intended for the hinge tabs pressed together. This becomes a permanent connection especially the edge areas in this overlap area too put the screws in the provided in the plastic parts Screw channels can be screwed in.
According to a particularly advantageous development of the invention Area of overlap of the folded sheet metal edges in the recess of the concave plastic part between the folded sheet metal edges a lip seal arranged in the form of a strip seal. If the sectional door is lowered, the upper one comes inwards Edge area of the concave broad face to the system the lip seal and presses against it, making it airtight Closure can be achieved.
According to a particularly advantageous development of the invention the convex shaped plastic part has a transverse groove, in which fits the assembled hinge strap joint. So it will inward-facing hinge strap taken from the plastic molding. In a further development, slots are provided for receiving above the groove of the pivoted-in protective element. Thus it is achieved that the hinge band on the one hand with its circular arc segments and the plastic parts, on the other hand, interact with the sectional door, so that on the one hand the disruptive effect of the protective elements is avoided is by letting it into the sectional door surface, and that on the other hand high rigidity thanks to the plastic molded parts in the Berietch the front broad sides is reached.
