Claims (7)
- Balle expansive (1) comprenant un corps de balle (2) présentant un trou axial borgne (3) débouchant au niveau d'une partie avant de la balle et obturé par un insert (4), balle caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte au moins une gorge périphérique annulaire (6) aménagée sur la surface externe du corps de balle (2), gorge disposée axialement au niveau d'une partie avant tubulaire (2b) du corps de balle et ayant une profondeur suffisante pour faciliter l'expansion de la balle à l'impact sur une cible.
- Balle expansive selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que la profondeur de la gorge (6) est sensiblement égale à la moitié de l'épaisseur du corps de balle.
- Balle expansive selon une des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisée en ce que la gorge (6) est délimitée au niveau de son bord arrière par un chanfrein (8).
- Balle expansive selon une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisée en ce que le fond de la gorge (6) est torique.
- Balle expansive selon une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisée en ce que la gorge annulaire (6) est disposée axialement sensiblement en regard du fond (7) du trou axial (3).
- Balle expansive selon une des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisée en ce que l'insert (4) comporte une partie arrière conique (4b) coopérant avec un profil conique (5) réalisé au niveau d'une partie avant du trou axial (3).
- Balle expansive selon une des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisée en ce que l'insert (4) est réalisé en un alliage d'aluminium et le corps (2) de balle en cuivre ou en un alliage de cuivre.
