Die Zuschnitte (10) werden im Bereich einer Verpackungsmaschine von einer fortlaufenden Materialbahn (29) abgetrennt. Die Materialbahn (29) wird entsprechend der Gestalt der herzustellenden Zuschnitte (10) mit Leimbildern versehen, nämlich Leimstreifen und Leimflächen (24, 25, 26, 27, 28). Diese bestehen aus Hotmelt-Leim, der nach dem Aufbringen aushärtet und später bei der Verarbeitung der Zuschnitte in der Verpackungsmaschine reaktiviert wird.
