- Socket spanner extension comprising a polygonal insertion part (2), having spanner surfaces (21), at one end and a correspondingly designed receiving part (1) at the other end, and comprising a joint between receiving part (1) and insertion part (2), the insertion part (2) being provided with a locking element (4) partly emerging from one of the spanner surfaces (21), having a pressure-transmitting element (8) which is guided axially in the insertion part (2) and one end (14) of which, of pin-shaped or button-shaped design, serves for the pressure actuation of the pressure-transmitting element (8) and the other end of which is a component of a mechanism for converting an axial movement, directed towards the insertion part (2), of the pressure-transmitting element (8) into an outward movement of the locking element (4), characterized in that an element (16), mounted on the insertion part (2) in a pivotable manner, of the joint has a pressure-transmitting surface (20) which is provided with an eccentric relative to the rotation axis (19) and against which the pin-shaped or button-shaped end (14) of the pressure-transmitting element (8) bears, the largest width of the eccentric occurring when receiving part (1) and insertion part (2) are arranged in straight alignment with one another.
- Socket spanner extension according to Claim 1, characterized in that the other end of the pressure-transmitting element (8) is provided with a bevel (10) which bears against the radially guided locking element (4).
- Socket spanner extension according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized by a spring (11) which exerts a pressure force on the pressure-transmitting element (8), the pressure force being directed towards the pin or button end (14).
- Socket spanner extension according to Claim 3, characterized in that the spring (11) is supported with its one end on the insertion part (2) and with its other end on the pressure-transmitting element (8).
- Socket spanner extension according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized by a cardan joint betweeen receiving part (1) and insertion part (2).
