Abstract

A thin steel plate of a high rectangular tube drawability obtained by finishing rough rolling of steel - which containing not more than 0.02 wt.% of C, not more than 0.5 wt.% of Si, not more than 1.0 wt.% of Mn, not more than 0.15 wt.% of P, not more than 0.02 wt.% of S, 0.091-0.10 wt.% of Al, not more than 0.008 wt.% of N, one or two kinds of 0.001-0.20 wt.% of Ti and 0.001-0.15 wt.% of Nb, and the balance including Fe and unavoidable impurities - in a temperature region of 950 °C to Ar3 transformation point, finish-rolling the rough-rolled plate while lubricating the same in a temperature region of the Ar3 transformation point to 500 °C at a draft of over 70 %, pickling the resultant mother plate, annealing the mother plate under conditions satisfying the following relations: (T+273)(20+log t)≥2.50x104 (I) and 745≤T≤920 (2) where T represents the mother plate annealing temperature (°C); and t parent the plate annealing time (sec), and thereafter cold-rolling this mother plate at a draft of 50-95 %, i.e., recrystallization-annealing the same. The resultant thin steel plate satisfying the relations (r¿L? + rC)/2-rD≥0,67 and (rL + 2rD + rC)/4≥2.7, where rL represents the Lankford value in the rolling direction; rD the Lankford value in the direction at an angle of 45° with respect to the rolling direction; and rC the value in the direction perpendicular to the rolling direction.
